Before closing the lid on the rusted metal box, I take one last glance at the familiar blonde hair and light blue eyes that make up my face, and drop the box into the recently dug hole in the ground. Once I'd piled the sun baked soil over the box I heard a faint snicker from behind me. I span round on the balls of my heels to find a well dressed man in his mid twenties overwhelmed with laughter walking along the road. After assuming he was the local crazy, I started to give up hope that this so called "demon summoning" my friend found in the library, was legit, when suddenly the deranged man that was once halfway up the road, was inches away from my face demanding the conditions of my bargain.
"Wh-what bargain?, what are you on about?" I replied nervously
"Look, I'll give you ten years and whatever you desire" asked the strange man, rather fluidly, as though he'd asked strangers this type of thing regularly.
"I d-don't unders- "
"Anything you want, revenge, money, success, absolutely anything!"
"Erm, can I have something cool like... Telekinesis ?"
"Oh is that all you want?, yeh certainly- just sign here and here"
He handed over some strange kind of parchment that had a rougher texture than paper and reminded me of thin leather, however i continued and signed the areas he impatiently tapped at. Once done he shuck my hand, looked me dead straight in the eyes, and pulled a nasty grin as third eyelids slid back to reveal dark,veined, red eyes as thick as spilt blood itself. I blinked suddenly to clear my vision and clarify that i, in fact saw red eyes and that my mind wasn't playing tricks on me, although when I looked back the neatly dressed man had vanished as though he'd evaporated into thin air.

After many hours of convincing myself that what I saw today was probably a trick of the light and lack of sleep, I managed to get to sleep after constant tossing and turning...
