Remus's POV
I woke to my arms neatly folding into Sirius. It was warm, he was warm. His hair smelt of sharpness. The uneasy feeling of what I had felt last night is coming back. The shock, the fear, the anger. It's all back, all in this one time, this one place.. I was removed from my thoughts when I heard the faint Knock of my mother. I moved swiftly from the cover.
"Come in.." I try to whisper. She walked in slowly.
"Oh, dear how is he?" My mother asked looking at Sirius. I swallowed as I looked at him. 'Fuck, why do we have to have this conversation now?'
"Have you known? " she asked. She we asking loads of questions I didn't like hearing all at once.
"Um.. awhile, he never made too much of fuss.. though, I always though I always thought um, one of our other friends, James would have taken this role. Well, I never though it would happen at all actually." I started explain it all. About his scars in his leg from the curses that he had called quidditch accidents, his family love being in Slytherin, how they were awful to him. My mum stopped and looked at me once I had finished.
"You've done lovely my brace boy.." she told me over and over that day. Though I didn't feel like I had.Once Sirius had awoken some time in the late morning. My mum had brought breakfast to him. She said I shouldn't be there for a while. I nodded as I left him to it. I sat down in the living room. I pulled my knees to my chest as I sat here. I looked over at the front door. Sirius had been standing there only hours ago. Hurt, cold, and scared out of his mind. Sirius wasn't Sirius like this. I looked up as I noticed his compact Mirror. The one James had given him as an early Christmas gift.
"You truly are brilliant Prongs.." I mutter as I grabbed it. I holding it in my hand not wanting to open it. What if James is upset to see me? What if he's expecting Sirius? I set it down. It'd be better for a letter to James. I was never good with words, thought writing was much easier. I got up and went over to my kitchen table grabbing a pen as well as some parchment I then began to write.
'Dear Prongs, it's Moony suppose you can guess by my shit writing. Anyway, about Sirius. It happened, they.. he's not there anymore. He's out of there. He's here, with me. He's okay, mum, dad and I have taken care of him. He came last night. I, wanted you to know. He was safe. He's okay, he'll never go back. We'll come around as soon as things have cleared up. As soon as he's ready..'
I folded the envelope. Then sent it in its way to James. I walked back to the door if my room where Sirius was sat. In a way, he seemed to appreciate my mother's kind ha da, kind words. She was always kind to me. I guess I never noticed that kindness wasn't always showed. I walked in and sat on the foot of the bed.
"Uh, alright, Padfoot?" I asked as I looked at him. His cheekbones still perfect, his posture, his facial features, everything was him. He was grinning at me, that fucking Sirius black grin.
"Yeah, Moony thanks alright." He nodded Sri me. My dad walked in shortly. "Sirius, I've got your things neatly packed away for you son. Your room is now complete just a bit of magic. Set a few things in there for you as well. Remus mentioned you liked quidditch, David Bowie and such. We harder those special touch's there.
"He's got ore at Hogwarts dad. He won't have much room." I joke softly. Sirius laughed at.
"Always room." He says with a smile. I now looked at him. His hair.. it was back. I wanted to hold him in my arms again right then. Though not here not right now. Now was time for me, not me.
