vegas pov :

[In hospital after he got shot]

I slowly opened my eyes, it was blurry but i could see someone standing near the window looking outside with hopeless eyes, A deep pain stabbed through my heart as I remembered what happened before I pass out and I realized i'm in a hospital

"Vegas.."

I heard a soft and warm voice coming along my side "Are you awake?" and as I clearly saw and recognise who the person infront me I felt overwhelmed and safe, and obviously that person was none other but pete, my comfort and my everything.

Pete's pov :

[1 month ago]

It's been 2 months since vegas got hospitalised here, everyday i'm with a big hope that vegas will wake up tomorrow or later eventhough doctor said there are high chances he could survived I was nervous.

"P'pete.."

I heard a soft tone approaching my way

"P'pete don't worry too much, I'm sure Hia will wake up soon."

T/N : Hia means brother

Macau said while giving me a chuckle, his words comforted me, macau was always a little boy with a bright personality eventhough vegas and him used to give me a jumpscare in the times when khun kinn asked me to spy on them 555+

[ Back to present ]

I immediately walked into vegas as I saw he was awake

"Are you awake?" I asked in a slow and soft tone

"Yes, While ago."

he said with a slight smile on his face which make him adorable

Vegas Pov :

He slowly approached my arms, Eventhough i've always wanted pete around me I didn't wanted to force him like last time which I regret a lot and I didn't wanted to repeat my mistake

"Why?... Why are you still here?"

I asked him in a low tone, desperately waiting for his response and eventhough I asked him that question, deep down I didn't wanted him to leave, I wanted to keep him by my side forever.

he gave me a slight but bright smile which I also missed a lot, The smile he had whenever I brought him noodles, The smile that brighten up my whole world <3

"I just want to follow my heart."

When I hear those words, I felt overwhelmed, my heart was filled with love which I never received from my father or anyone, I felt like i'm finally a special person in someone's heart and i'm glad that 'someone' is pete.

Pete's pov:

As I said those words I saw vegas's eyes turning into teary and wet eyes so I went close to him and make him sure to confirm that i'll never leave his side

"I'll always be by your side, until the very end."

I said those words hoping that'll comfort him but what I said was completely true otherwise why would I leave major family for him

He tightened his hands to mine and hung into my shoulders as if i'm gonna disappear
So I patted his hair and he hugged my waist like a kid
