Chapter 1, the curse is born
➪ Fish'Snap had been in the medicine den for awhile, the birthing process had been difficult as after 1 kit came out the pain was only getting worse. The medicine cat, Milk'Whisker had been trying everything to help the queen finish her birth, and alas..
The last kit came out, but... It's fur was completely dark, almost black colored. All of the cats just froze in shock as they could only look at the tiny kit.
Fish'Snap even scooted away with her other kit away from the dark furred one
"This- this isn't a good sign..." Milk'Whisker mumbled backing away from the kit slightly
"I'm not going to raise THAT thing, I'm never saying that it's my kit" Fish'Snap hissed, wrapping her tail around the white & orange kit as her fur pricked
"Curse'Kit" Milk'Whisker said in a cold tone, swaying their tail side to side in a panic
"Curse'Kit it is then" Fish'Snap hissed again before turning her head to her other newborn "And Duck'Kit.. my sweet baby" she purred while nuzzling the small white & orange body.
Meanwhile Curse'Kit was mewing sadly, cold & hungry as no one wanted to care for her until Oleander'Eyes padded into the den and silently picked her up, walking back to the nursery and settling down
"I'll care for you Curse'Kit.." the fluffy white cat whispered while licking the kit
