☆ 3rd Person POV ☆

Giada fiddled with her bright, lime green paws. The Shiny Jolteon was new to town. She was quite shy around all these new Pokémon. She was constantly tongue-tied whenever she'd speak to anyone. However, even then this set back, she found a job.

There was a marketplace and Giada would help stock the goods. She didn't have to talk to anyone except her boss and sometimes co-workers. It was nice. She got money and didn't have to prepare herself for any talking. However, when one Pokémon unexpectedly appeared in her life, everything seemed to change in ways she never expected it to.

Giada blinked her dark purple eyes. It was another day in the marketplace. Pokémon bustling about, chatting, arguing here and there. However, it wasn't too crowded today. She was glad vistor season was over. Then, this place would be absolutely packed.

She was helping with the many extra crates of many different items. She was hopping around the market, stand to stand. It was cool outside, so it was quite bearable for her. She was doing it efficiently until someone politely stopped her in her tracks.

" Hey, you! ", A voice exclaimed.
Giada stopped for a moment, looked around. She was about to shrug it off when they called again.
" Over here! ", The voice exclaimed again.

She looked around again, but now she saw a Vaporeon looking in her direction, waving his paw. She shifted her gaze around her, seeing no one behind her, she pointed to herself and tilted her head at him. He nodded and padded over to her. She froze like a deer in highlights as he approached.

" Hello! I'm Urdin! It's nice to meet someone new, especially someone as pretty as you! What's your name? ", The Vaporeon greeted with a bright smile on his face.
Giada just looked at him, nervously. She wanted to say hi, but no words were able to escape her throat.

" What's wrong? Did I say something wrong? Why aren't you responding? ", Urdin asked in a concerned tone after a couple of moments.
Giada shook her head, quickly. Then, she looked down at her paws. She remembered that one of her co-workers was deaf and they spoke with their paws. They tried their best to teach Giada when she showed interest and was kind to them. Giada just hoped her memory would not fail her now.

Giada sat down on the ground, lightly putting down the crate on her back and lifted up her lime colored paws. She then began to recite her training.
" G - I - A - D - A. ", Urdin followed, thinking out loud.
He blinked his dark purple eyes at her with a slight confused expression.
" What does that mean? ", He questioned.
Then, She gestured to herself.

After a couple of moments, He started to put two and two together.
" Is that your name? ", He asked.
She nodded, giving him a small and sweet grin.
" That's such a beautiful name! ", He examined, wagging his fish-like tail.

Quickly, Giada's lime green cheeks were stained with a crimson red blush. She looked away from him. Urdin giggled at her reaction.

Soon, Urdin and Giada became very close. As they grew that close, there was quite a visible change in Giada. The Shiny Jolteon became way more social than before. There were still times were she would get shy, but it was way less common for her now. She also became more confident in herself. She felt lighter and free.

There was also a new emotion brewing inside of her. It took a long time to process this new feeling. Giada couldn't identify it for the longest time. However, when she finally did so, it shocked her. It was love and surprisingly, it was for the one and only Urdin.

Giada was quite nervous about telling Urdin her feelings. Would he even like her back? Or would it ruin their friendship? She didn't know. She was terrified of telling him, but eventually she decided that today was the day.

Giada sighed deeply. She was waiting for Urdin in their special spot. They had found a deserted section of the market and they chose that spot to hang out. The Shiny Jolteon was getting impatient when the Vaporeon finally showed up.

A light blue paw stepped into the hanging spot. Giada's eyes and ears flicked upwards and towards the paw. When she saw it was Urdin, she quickly bounded over to him.

" Where were you!? ", She asked, a bit upset.
" Sorry, one of my friends forced me to stay a bit longer than usual. He's just super attached. ", He apologized, drooping his side fins a bit.
She sighed, shook her head from side to side and rolled her dark purple eyes.
" It's always him. Isn't it? ", She retorted.
" Yeah. ", He shrugged.

After a while, Giada built up the confidence she needed and decided to speak up.
" Hey, Urdin? ", She peeped out in a soft tone.
" Hm? ", He questioned, looking at her with his dark purple gaze to show his attention.
" May I tell you something important? ", She asked, flicking her eyes to the side for a moment.
" Yeah, sure. You can tell me anything! ", He told her, smiling.
" Alright, it may take a bit for me to get it out. ", She told him.
" That's alright. Take your time, Giada. I'm not going anywhere any time soon. ", He confirmed.

Moments of silence pass through them. Then, Giada broke the silence, letting a built up tension go.
" I have feelings for you like romantic feelings. I want to be more than just friends with you. ", She confessed, quickly.
" Oh, that's a surprise since I feel the same way. ", He admitted, blushing.
" You do? ", She asked with a shocked tone.
" Absolutely. Now, would you like to do on a date, my beautiful Giada ~ ? ", He cooed, holding out his paw to her.
