Up In Flames- Cat's POV

J was out of the hospital and he was staying at his momma's house. I was there chilling with him and helping him with anything he needed. The stab wounds weren't completely healed but they looked very much better than what they looked like before. I didn't tell him that Karmin was dead. I didn't even tell him that I know who did it and that I had planned to open up a can of whoop ass on her instead of her getting killed.

"You okay baby?" He said as he looked at my worried face.

"Yeah baby I'm okay. What about you? How does your back feel?" I asked while gently rubbing his chest.

"Better than before, could you rub some more of that medicine on it?" He asked.

"Sure baby, I'll help you get your shirt off." I said.

I gently pulled his shirt off over his head. I grabbed the medicine and gently rubbed the areas where his wounds were. I hate seeing all these scars on him but most of all I hated seeing him in pain. After I got done rubbing his back I closed the medicine container and washed my hands.

"J, you hungry?" I asked.

"Yes bae." he said.

"Whatchu wanna eat?" I asked.

"Hmm...surprise me." he smirked.

I looked in his momma's pantry to see what she had in there. I saw some salad toppings and immediately thought a about making him a salad. I looked in the refrigerator for some eggs, lettuce, tomatoes, carrots and cheese. I boiled the eggs in the pot and chopped and washed the lettuce. I sliced the tomatoes and shredded the carrots. As soon as the eggs got done boiling I removed the shells and cut the eggs up too. I got a bowl and put everything in it. I brought the colorful bowl to J. He smiled.

"Thanks bae." he smiled.

"You're welcome I hope you like it." I kissed him on the cheek and gave him something to drink.

As soon as I sat down next to J my phone had rung. It was Ticko. I looked at J.

"I'll be right back bae." I said.

I quickly walked to the porch and answered the phone.

"What Ticko?" I asked

"Man they found her body! It's all over the tv." He said panicking. "Aw shit man, what Imma do? I can't get locked up man. You know what they do to niggas like me?"

"Ticko, calm down. You not gone get locked up. I got your plane ticket for Cuba," I sighed. "Tomorrow morning you are going to get on that plane and I'm going to watch you take off. I told you shit was gonna get heated you should've listened to me."

Before he could say anything else I hung up. I had other stuff to deal with and now that the shit was all over the news I had to make sure nobody saw it.

-Caleb's House: Caleb's POV-

Macy and I were in the living room watching tv skimming through channels.

"Ooh! Eye Candy is on let's watch it." Macy piped up.

In the middle of the show an alert came on the tv.

Breaking News:

A body has been discovered in the Apichola Apartment Complex on Northside Avenue. Neighbors have reported foul smells coming from an apartment in the complex. Investigators examined the apartment and did indeed find a body and they have been on the case. Although the killer has not been found the body has been identified as 21 year old Karmin Vesualez (Vesh-Wah-Lez). Further information will be provided. I looked at Macy and she looked at me.

"Isn't that..." She looked shocked.

"We've got to call Catalina." I jumped up.
