"at your service."
──────────── ◦'𖥸'◦ ────────────Putting a cigarette stick to your mouth, a low and steady intake of the smoke entered your lungs before exhaling it through your mouth.
You sat by the window of your mansion. Thinking about nothing yet everything at the same time. It was an odd feeling to describe but it's the nature of what overthinking is. You were known as the daughter of two of the most important people in the world.
People would have killed to be in your spot. How lucky would it have been to be in your position and you had to admit that you were indeed one of the luckiest people alive. Though despite the known reputation of both your parents, people expected you to be the same or at least, quite the charm, but you beg to differ.
You were one of the most intimidating-looking women out there. Rarely smiling and always had that bitchy look on your face. People saw you as carefree to the point they think you even lack a brain to work with, unlike your parents. You're always engaging in troubling acts like late night outs doing god knows what.
Once you had an affair with three guards from each of the three biggest commissions, Yashiro, Tenryou, and Kujou commissions. This had caused an immense political debate between the three commissions about how your family will be upheld based on your troublesome scandals and actions.
Your face was practically known in newspapers at this point for your bad habits and how you were sure to become the downfall of your parents' legacy.
"(Y/N)!"
Oh, you have almost forgotten... your father is here with you. He's sitting across, watching you smoke as he had an annoyed expression upon his face, displeased as always with his own daughter and her actions.
He sighed heavily. "How many fucking times should I tell you to stop smoking! It's very unladylike of you!" Your father scolded but you had only rolled your eyes at his words.
You really couldn't care less about what he said at this point. You hated your parents and it's not a surprise at this point. You were the most distant person in the family and even your parents know it. You would fake a smile and laugh to people outside of your parents, including your grandparents, uncle, aunts, and cousins but no one else other than that.
"Were you even listening to what I just said?!" Your father complained as he rubbed his temples, acting like you were a headache to him. "Honestly, I can't work out how disappointed I and your mother are with you. Where did it all go wrong? Agh, I knew I should've sent you to live with your grandmother instead. Then maybe you'll know how hard life is especially without us."
You had only smirked at his commentary. It's not like you liked being a disappointment to your family but it's what you do best. So now, you're the worst.
"Your mother advised me to assign you to another therapist but I knew none of them would ever work so there isn't any worth to bringing another one into this only for you to cause them to go insane or get money from giving up." He said.
"You don't have to. I know there's no use to it." You said.
"Your mother and I only wanted what's best for you, (Y/N)."
You scoffed at his remark before taking another smoke of your cigarette and blowing a puff in the air. The number of times you've heard that yet you still couldn't bring yourself to believe it.
"Which is why we've decided to assign a bodyguard instead, not to keep you out of trouble but to keep others out of your trouble." Your father said and you looked at him in disbelief.
"You're kidding me?" You said, irritated by his decision.
Now it was your father's turn to smile at you, knowing it would only annoy you even more than you were.
'Oh, you asshole.' You swore at him inside your mind. 'No matter, I'll just drive this new guy to insanity and give up on me just like I did with the rest. Eventually, they'll leave me alone.'
"It seems that he'll be arriving by an hour. Go get dressed. At least try to be more presentable than this." He said before taking his leave and you sat there alone, having a small moment of rage after he had left before standing up and doing as told.
Though you were problematic, your parents tend to fail to realize that you do listen and consider what you were told. You and your parents definitely have a very complicated relationship with each other.
As soon as you came out of your room after a while of preparation, you were escorted by one of your housekeepers to the living room of your mansion.
As soon as you got there, your father immediately pushed you from behind him to the front, meeting eyes with the person your father had been talking to previously.
"It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, (Y/N). My name is Kaedehara Kazuha, your personal bodyguard. I will be at your service." The man standing before you greeted you with a bow.
Your eyes scanned his appearance with a blank expression on your face. Choppy, medium-length platinum blonde hair tied into a low ponytail. The vibrant red streak of his hair stood out just like the color of his eyes. His formal attire consists of a white open collar buttoned T-shirt that was sealed by a black tie and layered with a black tuxedo. He also wore long red earrings and uses a katana as a weapon.
This was the man your father had assigned to protect you or from what he had said, to protect others from you.
