The heroes reached the crash site and the vehicles transformed, they were in awe at the sight of the Autobots. Their leader, Optimus Prime, took centre stage.
Optimus: I am Optimus Prime, and we are the Autobots.
Knuckles: So are you the good ones or the bad ones?
Sonic: Well seeing as they're not trying to kill us, I'm guessing the former.
Optimus introduced the rest of the Autobots. There were...
Optimus: Second Lieutenant, Jazz.
Jazz saluted.
Optimus: Medical Officer, Ratchet.
Ratchet: Need a pick-me-up? I'm your bot.
Optimus: Eye in the sky, Breakaway.
Breakaway came flying in, landing just behind Prime.
Breakaway: Breakaway's the name, flying's the game.
Optimus: Weapons Specialist, Ironhide.
Ironhide: These guns ain't just for show.
Knuckles: Neither are these fists, tough guy!
Ironhide: Wanna dance?
Jazz: Stand down, Ironhide!
Ironhide acknowledged as Tails attempted to restrain Knuckles.
Optimus: And you have already met our reconnaissance officer, Bumblebee.
Bumblebee rolled up behind the five Mobians.
Sonic: It's nice meeting you, but why are you here?
Jazz: Because our enemies, the Decepticons, came here looking for their leader, Megatron.
Shadow: Decepticons...
Rouge: They must be the ones who attacked us in Shamar. But why are they here?
Optimus: Because their leader, my brother, Megatron, came to this planet searching for the All-Spark?
Shadow: All-Spark? You mean that Cube our scientists are studying?
Optimus: Yes, it is an ancient relic from our homeworld, Cybertron. It was Cybertron's main life source. We launched it into deep space so that the Decepticons couldn't obtain it, and Megatron went after it.
Meanwhile, the Decepticons were able to upload what they found to Soundwave, who was able to decipher it, but had bad news.
Soundwave: I have some bad news. The Autobots are aware of your presence, and have just landed on the planet.
Barricade: Sideways and I ran into one of them in the city.
Starscream: I should've known Prime would stick his nose into our business.
Soundwave: I was, however, able to decipher the information you uploaded. A "Dr. Robotnik" has Megatron imprisoned in his base in a location called Iron Jungle. I am sending you the coordinates now.
Starscream: Very well. This is Starscream, all Decepticons mobilize.
Long Haul: Long Haul on the move.
Barricade: Barricade en-route.
Brawl: Brawl reporting.
Sideways: Sideways moving.
Bonecrusher: Bonecrusher rolling.
Shockwave: Shockwave acknowledges.
Blackout: Blackout incoming.
Decepticons: ALL HAIL MEGATRON!
