Y/n POV

April 21, 2006

"Mike, what is three to the power of two?" Mr. Varner asks him. Mike had been sleeping and unfortunately, you sat next to him.

You lean over to whisper in his ear. "Six."

"Six!"

"Did you pass middle school, Mike? Did you pass middle school?" Mr. Varner continues to yell at poor Mike whose face is now paler than Edward's.

"Um, yes,"

"Your teachers were idiots! The answer is nine, Mike. It's nine. How do you expect to pass calculus if you can't figure out what three to the power of two is," Mr. Varner walks back to the front of the class and points to the board.

"Fuck you, Oregon. I know you knew what the answer was," Mike angrily jokes next to you.

"Well, sucks to suck, Michael,"

"I told you to stop calling me Michael,"

"And I told you to stop calling me Oregon,"

"I call Bella Arizona and she's fine with it,"

"I'm sorry to break it to you, Michael, but I'm not Bella," He opens his mouth to talk again but the bell cuts him off. Everyone rushes to the door. You usually take your sweet time but today was special. Today Rosalie Hale was picking you up to fix your car.

Alice called you last night to apologize for Monday. You were still a bit hurt about what had happened but you don't have a whole lot of friends so you can't afford to keep grudges. At one point during your call with her, Rosalie had walked in. Alice started teasing you both about it and then practically forced Rosalie to take the phone from her. You both were a bit awkward at first until Alice suggested that Rosalie come over today and finally get to work on your car.

You make your way outside and to the parking lot. Right in front is the red BMW convertible that belonged to none other than Rosalie Hale. She was fixing her hair in the rearview mirror and then reapplying lipgloss. You weren't one hundred percent sure but you definitely had a hunch that Forks' one and only Rosalie Hale might have a crush on you.

"Hey," You whisper in her ear and she almost drops her lipgloss on the black leather seats.

"Hi, hey, sorry, I wasn't paying attention," She stutters and unlocks the car for you to get in the passenger seat.

You had noticed recently that she was almost always flustered around you. You weren't sure why. It's not like you were anything special. Well, give yourself some credit. You had gotten around back in Oregon and now here in Forks to say the least but compared to Rosalie, she was a goddess and could get anyone she wanted. So why on Earth did you make her so nervous? You kind of found it funny in a sense. You like to mess with people and you had been doing it to Rose for the last couple of days. You weren't playing with her feelings or anything. You were just testing the waters.

"Getting all dolled up for me, Princess?" You say as you put your seatbelt on and lean back.

"No, I just like to keep up with my looks is all. Can't say the same for you." She smirks at you. You were a little surprised at her sudden confidence that she doesn't usually show in front of you.

You jokingly put your hand over your heart. "Ouch. You know you should be lucky I'm even hanging out with you. I have a very busy schedule."

"Oh, really?"

"Really. Everyone at this school wants to hang with the Y/n Y/l/n." You put your hands behind your head and lean against the headrest. "In fact, here comes some of my biggest fans. Hey, Michael. Tyler." The two boys walk over to you, their jaws hanging open at the car in front of them.
