Welcome back, Steven!

Chapter 2

Steven walked up to his dad's van and knocked on the back doors.
An bald old man with gray hair behind his bald spot and a grey beard opened the door.
"Oh, hey, Schtu-ball, your'e back!" said the old man, who was actually Steven's father, Greg Universe.
He and Steven had been video-chatting since Steven arrived at the closest state to Delmarva at age 17, so Steven's large appearance didn't surprise him at all.
"Dad-"said Steven, almost glowing pink. "I'm getting married to Connie."
"Wow, Steven!" said Greg. "This is exciting!"
"I know."
"Are Ruby and Sapphire planning it as usual?"
"Yep."
"So what should I do? What should I wear?"
"Bring your guitar and your best suit." said Steven as he backed away, making finger guns. "Cause' me and Connie are gonna have a wedding!"
Later, at house, Steven and Connie were making invitations.
Steven and Connie each wrote their names on a blank piece of paper from Pearl, which Amethyst stamped, and Peridot put in an envelope.
"So, Connie..." said Steven as soon as they left the cake shop. "When do you think we should have kids? I mean, it's only six months til' wedding planning is down."
"Uh, I think...maybe we should start now." Connie blurted out.
When Steven and Connie got home, they told Peridot the news when Pearl interrupted.
"But how are you going to plan the wedding and prepare to have a baby at the same time?!" She exclaimed. "And Steven, your body is fragile, we couldn't let anything happen to you!"
"Relax, Pearl." Steven said. "You, Garnet and Amethyst can help with the baby thing, and so can Peridot."
Pearl breathed a sigh of relief.
"Peridot?" Pearl said to the small gem.
"On it!" Peridot said in excitement.
Peridot took a piece of hair from Steven's pillow, and another from Connie's hairbrush.
She then put the DNA in the machine, coming out into a tube like a green, bubbly soda.
"No way am I drinking that." Said Connie in disgust. "Give it to Steven."
"No, wait-"
"Too late!" Peridot said as she shoved the potion in Steven's hands.
"Oh boy." Steven said before he gulped down the substance.
"Great." Peridot said to Steven as she took the empty tube from him. "As soon as next month, that button will be popping off your jeans."
