Shiori Honda had always thought of herself as a plain person, someone who was just a random face in a crowd, a whisper in the wind. It was a sentiment everyone had shared, both students and teachers alike across Mitsubishi academy. Shiori Honda was a wallflower...well, to everyone except you. You were the pretty new art teacher from overseas who was outgoing, always getting coffee for all the staff in the morning and late at night. You were Someone who was firstly way out of her league and, secondly, the complete opposite of her. Because of this, she couldn't help but feel a bit discouraged; you'd never notice her over someone like Subaru sensei or Hino-sensei, yet somehow you did. You always did for some reason.
You'd leave her coffee on her desk with little post-it notes wishing her to have a good day or talk with her for hours on end while grading students' art projects and asking for her input. It was nice to feel noticed and appreciated for once, even if she knew you'd never like her more than a friend. It left a bitter taste in her mouth but one that she would deal with, especially as she formed the light music club with your support, encouraging her not togive up despite the hurdles thrown her way.
