!Shinobu's POV! Kaw Kaw shinobu kocho and kanae kocho are to go on a mission together at ******** "Hm a mission well kanae let's go get ready for the mission" We get ready for the mission and kanao stopped us to asked where we were going we told her we were going on a mission and we're to come back soon
As we set for the mission kanae says something that honestly shocked me "Promise me you won't die" "Kanae why would you ask that" "Well if both of us are going on a mission together and I have a bad feeling about this like maybe an upper moon" I didn't know how to respond so I stood there speechless "Well we better get going sis"
Once we get there it's still 6pm so we have a lot of time to ask the villagers for information about the demon. We encountered quite a lot of people and a majority of them said that it was the founders ghost but a few said it was a demon which was true. There was this 1 particular women that stood out to us she had given us a good description of the demon because she had said that she had escaped from the demon. We thanked her for the information and by that time it was already 8pm so in about 30 minutes the sun will set. Kanae says that we should go get some food before we start hunting for the demon I agree and we go and eat. I order ginger boiled down in soy sauce and Kanae orders the same.
After we finish eating I start to realize that this was the town I was born in and chuckle Kanae looks at me and she looks confused I tell her it's nothing and we go hunting for the demon. The women said that the demon looked like it had blood spilled on his head and that his eyes were rainbow colored. She also says that it only goes for females which only makes it easier. I feel someone or something staring into my soul and I know Kanae feels it too.
I hear something and hold on to my katana tight then that's when it happens something that will change my life FOREVER
there on the floor is my sister bleeding out from her stomach and then I get flung into the trees and pass out. Thankfully villagers found me and saved my life. When I wake up I jump up and the doctor screams I had scared them they look at me very surprised and say "oh my goodness you shouldn't be awake right now but why are you crying does it hurt" I look at her and nod no I ask her where my sister is and she looks confused.
