Prologue

Hi how are y'all? I hope you're doing great! So this is actually my first fanfic, I've had like 10 chapters in my drafts for like a month and wondered why not post it? And please don't be so hard on my writing I just write for fun :) Also, English is not my first language so you may encounter some mistakes along the way and I apologize for that. I will be slowly posting the other chapters and may do some slight changes. I think that's all! Please enjoy this poorly written story lol. I know this won't get many views but for the people who will read it I'll try my best! <3 (oh and also sorry if the chapters are a little short I always try to reach atleast 1k but its hard for me since im a beginner. And the prologue is the shortest chapter there will ever be.)

Third person POV.

"It was because I wanted to see you,Annie."

"Why..?"

"Do you really not get it ? Even after Hitch teased me that much..?"

"No..I don't."

Annie then rapidly got up from where she was sitting, slightly flustered.

But he didn't see it like that. He just saw the girl he had loved for so many years, the one he had just confessed to, turn her back to him and leave. And that without any further explanation.

He wanted to go after her but decided to let it go.
He then started wondering if he had done something wrong.

Only if he knew that she had waited for that confession for years.

To worsen things, Annie had been avoiding Armin after the war. But it wasn't really on purpose. She was too shy to go and talk to him about it.

I know, the word "shy" isn't what you would refer to when talking about the Annie Leonhart. But now you see the effects of falling in love with Armin Arlert. It can make even the coldest human on earth someone soft.
