It was all Foxy's fault, and it all started with a small boy. He was about 7-8 years old. I witnessed the entire thing. It was horrible. It's sickening to think about. Foxy was performing. He was doing his normal thing by talking to all the kids and showing them how to behave. When he had finished most of the children went to play games or talk to Freddy, Chica or me. But there was this one kid. He was very interested in Foxy. I don't know why though. He was torn and his voice box sometimes made a strange gargling static noise. He was torn up more than the rest of us.
So this kid, gets up on the stage, no one noticed, or told him no, so he just went right along, examining Foxy closely. Foxy didn't like people getting to close and seeing his torn and broken parts. Even the staff couldn't get close, and that's why he was never fixed. Foxy was very self conscious at that time. Agitated about every little thing out of the ordinary. He thought it was against the rules. Foxy did not like that kid getting so close, without thinking he lunged his head at the child and bit down... hard.
The boy screamed and everyone looked over. Seeing the boy with his head clamped in the jaws of the animatronic fox, everyone panicked and ran. Staff went to try to pry the jaws off the boys head. Foxy didn't like people getting close. He bit down really hard then released in an instant. Foxy fell back, and frightened his parts froze and he laid frozen like on the floor.
People ran out of the pizzeria. Sirens from outside sounded. Police and paramedics rushed in. Even the fire department came. This was the last of us. They were shutting us all down. Replacing us. People started calling the incident "The Bite".
This place was built right after the end of Fredbear's Family Diner. They used different animatronics. Us. This place lasted for about 10 years before the bite. It was time for our retirement and the start of a new chapter... a chapter of new "toy" animatronics.
