Lunchtime
I was walking to much brothers lunch table when I hear Eddie start to go off on another rant about society or something I guess. I start to sit down at the table when I hear Eddie loudly say "or a game where you shoot balls into laundry baskets". Jason jumped up ready for war. I'm so tired of these 2 coming at each other all the time. Jason walks up to Eddie who is standing on a table. "You want something freak" I jump up and yell at Jason. "How about you stop being a prick and sit you ass down!" Jason slowly walked back to the table and sat down. I am so done being the perfect daughter. I'm just gonna take the next opportunity thrown in my direction to do whatever the hell I want. We are sitting close enough to Eddie's table to where I can hear everything he says. I hear him and his friends arguing about postponing hellfire(their dnd campaign), because their friend Lucas was in the championship game. I jump up and start heading towards Eddie's table as I feel Jason grab  my wrist and pull me back. "What the hell are you doing Natalie" Jason stated at me with the biggest angry state  have ever seen him give me. " Jason I'm done being the perfect lamb in our family I'm gonna do what I want to from now on" I pull my wrist away from Jason, grab my lunch tray and quickly walk over to Eddie's table and sit. All of hellfires eyes were on me with confusion. " I'll play in your campaign tonight Eddie I overheard you talking about it." I broke the silence. I could feel Jason's beading eyes stare at the back of my head. "Woah hold it first off I know you don't know a thing about dnd and 2 you also have the game tonight 3 why are you here." Mike said staring me down. " First off don't judge a book by its cover Wheeler. I used to play Dnd all the time and I don't give 2 shots about cheerleading or the game tonight, so how about you mind your own and I will take Eddie's answers so Eddie will you take me?" Eddie looked at me up and down with a slight grin across his face which I think is a good thing. "Okay Carver we will give this a shot. I'm assuming your family will hate this and refuse to drive you so I'll pick you up from your place at 4:30 got it and you better not be late."Eddie looked amused by the whole situation but I will just take it and run. I smiled and nodded got up from the table and threw my lunch away just as the bell rang. Oh boy was I gonna be in for it later....
