POV switch: Leo Valdez
"I have received a reply from the letter I sent."
Surprisingly it only took a day for them to answer, I guess this pigeon carrier mail thing really does work. Or was it eagles? Owls? Oh who gives a dam?
"And what'd they say?" Annabeth questions, she looked prepared to start jotting down notes, with some pen and paper ready.
"Well the letter was answered by some lady named professor McGonagall." Chiron turns to look over at Nico, whose currently staring off into the distance where Will is.
"Oh umm yeah, she's one of the teachers there at the school, transfiguration if I'm not mistaken." He blushes almost like he was caught off guard. Not quite so sure what that was about.
"Anyways, she requests that we come check out the ally, see if we can find any clues as to what it was that had passed by the place. She says she thinks its best to get our opionion in case if Percy's theory really is correct."
"Okay so their just gonna have us look at a street for clues? Like what sort of clues do we need to know if it was some old lady with wings? Its not like she's just gonna drop her bag of hard candies? The great Leo has got better things to accomplish!"
"Oh like that 'super cool capture the flag contraption' you had Harley show us last Friday?" Piper interjects
"Yeah I know aswome right!" I mean who couldn't agree with me?
"The one that burned down half of the demeter cabin, and all of my cabin? The one that took until just this morning to finish rebuilding?" she continues.
"Okay so maybe it wasn't very stable yet, but I mean It was some right!"
"Sure Leo whatever you say, now can we get back on track?" Nico grumbles, clearly annoyed by this whole detour in the conversation
"Yooo! Even death boy agrees! Whatcha gonna say buety queen? I got the ghost king to agree with me! It was rad, wasn't it"
This just makes him groan in disdain
"Dosen't matter right now you have to get to that ally." Chiron chimes in.
"Oh yeah that's right, where did you say this ally is again?"
"London, England"
Percy smiles, "Well we got a road trip ahead of us don't we?"
