(Quick A/N, So I wrote this about 3 weeks after I finished watching the second season of owl house, and here we are. This and other chapters contain spoilers for those who haven't watched the end of season 2. It felt weird being back in the human realm...Well what else did I expect? The rain doesn't make my skin boil at the touch, there are no people shouting:
'Buy one snakes foot, get one free!' And other strange things... It's about 20:15 in the human realm but I'm not at all tired, too much has happened in this one day alone... King is gone, Eda is gone, the owl house itself is gone...Everything...The rain hits the top of my head hard. I look back and see Gus and Hunter hugging tightly ( Not gonna lie I think they like each other.)On my other side Willow was standing next to Amity in as much shock as me.
"Luz, what just happened?" Willow asks, obviously scared to know the answer...
"It's the human realm," Gus replies, "We are in the human realm," He looks around the area we are in, the woods I used to play in as a kid... I nod.
"W-what are we going to- where are we going to stay!?" Amity half shouts, half cries... I realise I live right next to where we are standing.
"Follow me," I take Amity's hand and guide her to where my house is, all five of us stand outside my house, everything is still the same...I knock on the door. The door opens to show my mom in her usual red glasses. It suddenly hits me how long I've been gone... I've grown, I'm now nearly as tall as her...She looks at me in shock
"Hola mama...I'm back!" I have nothing else to say.
"oh Dios mio..." I see tears swell in my mom's eyes...She quickly pulls me into a hug, "te extrañé mucho cariño,"
"I missed you too mama," I sniffed, trying to hold back the tears. My mom's eyes looked at my friends.
"Quienes son estas personas Luz?" She asked, I looked back. They all looked so confused, oh yeah, they can't speak Spanish.
"Guys, this is my mom Camila Noceda," They all waved at her, she gave them a warm smile back. "And mom, these are my friends. Willow Park, Gus Porter, and Hunter," They all looked at her and smiled as I said their names.
"It's very nice to meet you all! Who's this young lady?" My mom looked at Amity.
I didn't hesitate, I was proud of Amity and I loved her... "Mom, this is Amity Blight, my girlfriend!" I didn't look at my mom. I saw Amity's face she was blushing but she looked terrified.
"¡¡Ella es tan bella!! That's wonderful, I never thought Luz could get someone this pretty!" Amity started to blush even more, I on the other hand had made a new shade of red.
"Thank you very much Ms.Noceda!" Amity replied.
"No, no dear, that won't do! From now on you all call me Camila. Bien?" We all started laughing, even Hunter...Was he...Happy?!
|Hunter's Pov|
Although I had no idea why we were laughing, it felt good. I placed my hand on Gus' shoulder, he was trembling... I looked at him for a few seconds, why was he shaking?
"Come in, come in!" Camila ushered, "Vee! Look, Luz is back. With her friends!" I closed the door behind me before we saw a basilisk come out from a room, she looked familiar from somewhere... She scurried over to Luz and gave her a big hug, Luz hugged back.
"Vee! You might know my friends, they're from Hexside!" The basilisk looked at us while Luz introduced us."And this is Hunter." The basilisk shot a glare at me.
"YOU!" She shouted, coming over to me, "YOU WERE THE ONE WHO HELPED THE ONE WHO CAME AFTER ME AND MY FAMILY 40 YEARS AGO!!" She paused "You look, younger..."
"T-That can't be true, I-I'm only 16-" I realised at that moment, Luz looked at me, I looked at her.
The basilisk known as Vee sniffed at me. "No, no, no, no! It can't be..." I looked at her and shook my head. Vee took my arm and dragged me into another room.
"You're a Grimwalker, aren't you?" I didn't answer... "You are! You're the Grimwalker of the brother of Phillip Wittebane!" I looked at the floor. "Or as you know him...Emperor Belos," My head shot up.
"Yes, but you can't tell them! I've only just made them my friends, especially Gus..." I felt my cheeks burn red. "BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT!"
Vee crossed her arms, "Then what is the point?" She asked.
"You can't tell anyone that I'm a Grimwalker!" I hissed at her. I heard a gasp behind me, I turned around quickly to see Gus looking at me terrified.
Shit
"H-Hunter, what does that mean..." He asked me.
I calmed down and ran over to him and held his shoulders..."I'm gonna be honest with you Gus...I don't know myself, all I know is that Phillip- I mean, Belos knew someone who died , then made me into a grimwalker of them..."
"Is that why you don't have any, real powers? But you have the ears of a witch and everything!" He looked at me in concern.
"I think so, but promise me you won't tell anyone! I want to tell them in my own pace..." I replied
"Promise," Gus took my hand, that made my heart flutter...
'CUT IT OUT' I said to myself 'It's not like Gus likes you or anything!' My mind played this sentence over and over until we got to the room where everyone else was.

(I'm sorry but why does no one ship this!? I know Gus is 13 and hunter is 16 but that's only 3 years apart... I know to some people it may sound wrong but I personally think it's adorable.)
