I stepped into the fall breeze here in London, or what's left of fall. I paid the taxi driver and gave him a little bit extra for a tip. I had just finished tourung with Demi Lovato on her worl tour.
I sat my bags on the floor next to the door, but I couldn't help but to close my eyes and breathe in a large amount of the scent of my house. I love touring, but I still miss my house and family like crazy!
"Leona! You're home!"I jumped at the strong sound of my dad's voice.
"Dad you scared me! I thought you were at work," My hand flew over my heart. I looked around the living room for my mom, but some one else cought my eye. Someone I've been wanting to meet for a while. and another man who I'm guessing is his father.
"Well, where is mom? Oh sorry, I'm being rude I'm Leona," I stuck out my hand out for them to shake. They gladly took it. I couldn't but wonder why he was here.
"Hello Leona, I'm Liam. It's nice to meet you. I've been hearing really good things about you," I blushed a light shade of pink. My mom walked out of the kitchen with a lady by her side. One held a tray with my mum's nice tea cups and the other held another tray with a bowl of sugar and tea biscuits.
"Come over here love! Take a sit next to Liam. We have some news for both of you," I did as I was told by my mum.
"Hey do you know what this is about?"I looked into his beautiful brown eyes as he shook his head no.
"Well what now seems ages since we agreed on this..." My mum spoke excitedly. Liam's mum finished the sentence for her.
"What mum?" I asked.
"When Liam was growing up, he never really had any girl friends, and your mum said they same thing about you. Many, many years ago we all got together, and agreed that it would be best for you guys to get married," Liam and I shot up from our seats straight way protesting.
"MARRIED! We can't get married. He's famous world wide, and I'm just a dancer. Plus the fact that we're both young! This isn't a good idea at all. What about our lifes? We can't go through with this!"
"Yes! What about the band and the fans? About our careers! We are both completely busy people. This will never work out," Liam looked straight at his mom in shock.
"Daddy? Help us please." I begged for my dad's help in stopping all this, but I should have known better then to try to get out. I can't.
"you will be married in about eight months or less if we can. Leona, I'm making you go through this because I love you and I know Liam is the perfect person for,"My mom kept going about how much we were similar. I honestly don't see how this going to work and just by the looks of it, neither does Liam.
I couldn't take this anymore, and I took off running up the stairs into my bed room. It's still had the fresh smell of vanilla like it always did, but things were not the same. Boxes were all over the place, and all of my things were all packed up in boxes. A box was marked with the words Leona's memories on it. I opened the box carefully. I pulled out one of the most important pictures in my life. In my hands I held the first picture of Louis. I picked up our friend ship bracelet we had made when we were small kids. He is two years older then I am, but lets be honest here. He can sometimes act a lot younger. I wiped the tears that made their way down my cheeks. I picked up my phone and dialed him as quick as I could. The phone rang twice before Louis' voice boomed from the specker.
"L. are you home yet?"I took a sharp deep breath.
"Lou...I'm getting married with someone very close to you,"I sobbed into the phone.
"You're what? You never told me you had a boyfriend."
"That's the thing Louis. Our parents are making us do this."
"I'm really sorry L. I wish I could do something about this. So when do I get to meet the lucky lad who gets stuck with my little L. for the rest of his life," I smiled. Louis can always make me smile even if it's something bad.
"Trust me you know him more than I do,"I wiped my tears away. I jumped at the sound of someone at the door.
"Lou I'll call you later someone is at my door."
"Okay love, talk to you later. Bye."
"Bye" I hung up.
LIAM'S P.O.V.
"Mum but what about the band and did you hear her? She said she has a career. I can't stop her from living her dream,"I was still standing there in shock.
" Liam don't worry you both still have your careers ahead of both of you. Just that you have each other for support. Take her bags up to her room, and do some talking about what going on tomorrow," I sighed knowing there is no why in the world we could change their minds.
" I guess." I sighed as my feet moved to the spot where Leona had dropped her bags by the door. Walking up the stairs, I could hear soft crying. My heart broke just listening to her cry. I knocked on her door waiting her to answer.
"Who is it?" her beautiful voice creaked on the other side. I mentally slapped myself. Liam stop it.
"It's me Liam. I brought your bags up for you," When she opened the door, you could see the stains of tears on her cheeks and the redness in her eyes. My heart broke even more seeing her in this state. I felt so helpless towards her. I wish I could tell her that we don't have to go through with this, but sadly that's not how this works.
