"𝗛𝗲𝘆~"
A soft male voice cooed looking at the seated girl that was immersed in a book, the owner of the voice sat next to her after hearing her groan of disdain and seeing her cover her face with the book at the sound of his voice
"C'mon, don't be like that." Kinsley teased as he took the book out of Lilac's hands
"What. Do. You. Want." The woman that had currently dyed her hair platinum gritted out, enunciating each word.
"Can't i come to the library anymore?"
"You literally hate books more than anyone I know."
"Hehe~ you're such a tease."
"..." Lilac deadpanned at the redhead wondering why he was acting weirder than usual "Just spit it out and go away."
"Wellll~ a little birdie told me that a certain somebody is in trouble once more." Kinsley smiled loving the way the petite lady had finally started paying attention to his words
"What'd Aera do?" She sighed
"Absolutely bust the mission of course." He said with a bright smile "Forget gaining his trust, it's a miracle he didn't kill her."
"But she's already in his guild though." Lilac pointed out, that was all Aera had told her about her progress so far
"You might have forgotten that was a secondary part, the major point was for her to get close to him and bring him to our side. Your stupid sister couldn't even speak to her ex without losing her shit on him." He tsked disappointedly "We should've sent you. You speak to me just fine even after I che-"
Lilac pushed her chair out making a screeching sound that shut the man up, picking her book up, she went to another aisle of the library and situated herself there with a dark look on her face
"Aww~ c'mon~ don't tell me you're still hurt over that~" Kinsley cooed as he followed her "Unless you're still head over heels for me there's no reason to be upset when I bring up what happened in high school."
"Can you shut the fuck up? Your voice makes my brain hurt." The white haired girl sighed as she flipped through the pages of her book to find where she had stopped
'He closed my book without even bothering to put in the bookmark'
"Ouch, you're hurting my feelings." He said in a fake hurt voice as he put his right hand on his chest
"Good."
Kinsley pulled out the chair across from Lilac and sat himself there once more
"Anyways, why's your sister so emotional damn. Where's the sweet and patient Aera from the past? Did South Korea make her a bitch or something?" He lamented in a disappointed voice
Lilac didn't respond, if it was anyone else she would surely have jumped to defend her sister but it was Kinsley. He only ever said things to get a reaction, going off on him wouldn't hurt him at all, no, it'd amuse him and become his source of happiness.
"Silent treatment? Touché"
Lilac still stayed quiet, the redhead man rested his head on his hands and looked at the girl intensely from underneath his long dark lashes, sunlight was streaming in from the window and with her white hair she looked almost angelic
"You're so pretty under the sunlight." He sighed in a dreamy voice causing Lilac to freeze up
She didn't respond but there was no ignoring the tip of her ears that had turned a beautiful shade of red
"Your ears still blush when you're flustered." Kinsley chuckled as he stood up and leaned over the table out to touch it only to get his hand slapped away. Hard.
"Don't." Lilac scowled coming to her senses "Please." She quickly pushed her chair out from the table and stood up "You don't get to do this again." She almost sounded hurt as she hurriedly scurried away from the man as though he was on fire with only one destination in mind

"𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆."
Jin-ho sighed, he had been up all night getting the official work of the guild done and wasn't ready to deal with the disaster known as Aera
"I figured I'd show my work ethic." Aera smiled, as she trudged in "where's the boss?"
"He's out. Take a seat I'll do the paperwork to make you an official member of the guild."
Aera scanned the office, noticing how everything in it seemingly belonged to jin-ho and nothing that had jinwoo's personality was in place
"Soooo, jin-ho is it?"
Jin-ho glanced up from the work he was doing and noticed Aera had cupped her face in her palms and was resting on his table...creepily close
"...yes?" He asked sweat dropping, 'what could she possibly want?"
"I look forward to working with you from now on." Aera smiled brightly, extending her hand to him for a handshake
"Wow..." Jin-ho said in an amazed voice, he had been so busy focusing on her bold personality that he never noticed her face, now that he got to see it up close he realized she was the kind of pretty that could get popular in any industry based on her looks alone
"Umm" Aera cleared her throat bringing him down to earth "Are you just gonna leave me hanging?"
That's when Jin-ho realized she had her right hand outstretched and hurriedly clasped it between his two hands
"I'm sorry, has anyone told you that you have a really beautiful smile? Because you do, it had me star struck for a second!" Jin-ho exclaimed "I look forward to working with you too!"
Aera knew she was pretty. She had been told that all her life by everyone she ever met, men old enough to be her grandfather, creepy teachers at her school and drunk teenage boys on the streets. She had never had anyone compliment her so purely in a way that didn't seem sexual or dirty, or as if they wanted something in return for the compliment.
She stared at him with eyes wide in shock, and just then sung jinwoo walked in
"Already seducing him as soon as I'm gone?" He asks in an annoyed breathy voice, he had just gone on a long run and felt a bit tired and had to see this sight
Aera bent over jin-ho's table with her face in her palms, eyes wide in wonder, jin-ho's bright red cheeks as he tried avoiding her eyes
Jin-ho lurched back in his chair avoiding jinwoo with a guilty expression, making the situation seem weirder than it already looked
"Oh please. I'm not scum like you. I'd never go after anyone connected to my ex." Aera retorted as she straightened her body with a roll of her eyes
"I somehow find that hard to believe." Jinwoo smiled annoyingly "And you know what, since you're so free come with me." He said before turning around and leaving the office, his previous tiredness seemingly forgotten
"What for?" Aera called after him as she speed walked to catch up
"Well, we're going to go hunting."
