Pitbull was in the lead. Sonic knew he just had to go faster. They were just about to reach the finish line. IT WAS A TIE. But the boys kept going past the finish line. They ran off of school grounds and right onto the streets of Kyoto. Past corner stores and apartments. They refused to lose.
It had been hours since they started. They were at the far end of Hiraka about to enter Ibaraki. 'What does Sensi think of us?' Sonic thought. They ran past the HOTEL MOTEL HOLIDAY INN.
Pitbull realized in order to win he would have to take off his sandals and go barefoot. 'Much better.' Mr. Worldwide thought. Now he was in the lead. They both agreed they'd stop at Kadoma. Even without his shoes on Pitbull was falling behind. Sonic smiled knowing he was going to win. He turned around to rub it in when he saw .....
