"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday; happy birthday. Happy birthday to you!'' The guys sing to me as they place the rainbow birthday cake down on the table in front of me. I smile in delight looking at each of their faces. "Happy 22nd birthday our little Maknae" the man standing behind me said with his dimples on full display as I looked up at him.
"Thank you Joonie" I smile as I dip my finger into the icing and rub it on his nose. Everyone besides him started laughing because it was red icing.
"Hyung is a clown!!!" the boy with bunny teeth laughed, Namjoon dipped all of his fingers in and rubbed them on each of our noses as well.
"Now all 8 of us are clowns," he boasted.
Yes that is right; I live with 7 men while being a female. They are my best friends, I've known them since middle school. All 7 of them are more like family than my biological family; the oldest Jin basically raised me. In fact Jimin was my first kiss. Well back to today.
"Oh my god!! This reminds me of when y/n first tried blush!" Jimin teased. Everyone (including me) laughed at the memory
"She looked and still looks like a clown," Jungkook added. Our laughs died down as Jin handed me the knife
"As tradition, the birthday girl cuts the cake" I grab it and cut the biggest piece for me and cut 7 other pieces about half the size of mine for each of the guys and hand them out. And we go to town eating it.
After we finish it feels like time stopped as I look at all of their smiles. Namjoon with his shy dimpled smile. Jin's nose scrunches, and his eyes turn into crescent moons. Yoongi with his gummy smile. Hobi's heart shaped lips. Jimin's eyes disappeared. Tae's box smile. Jungkook and his bunny teeth on full display. I just love these guys so much, they make my heart happy seeing them all together. We never do this anymore. Me and Jin spend the most time together, cooking, watching movies, and more. Yoon is always in his room doing things, i sometimes look in to see what he's doing and he is either on his computer or sleeping. Hobi and Jiminie are always out at the dance studio training. Joonie is always at the library reading. Taehyung is always on tv playing overwatch. Finally Jungkook is at the university picking up girls. I don't blame Jungkook because the girls there are smoking hot but the guys are too.
We all gather by the Tv and turn on my favourite movie, Beautiful Vampire. I sat in the middle of the couch, Yoonie is to my right with Joon beside him, Jin is to my left with Hobi beside hi,, Tae is between my legs sitting on the floor with Jimin and Jungkook on each side of him. I smile looking at the tv softly playing with TaeTaes hair. As the movie continues I start to feel tired and rest my head on Yoon's shoulder and my feet up on Jin's lap. Jinnie starts to massage my feet and it just helps me fall asleep faster.
I wake up against a soft surface with someone holding me. Opening my eyes and turning around seeing Taehyung holding me with Yoongi behind him in Jin's bed. I sit up with a bit of whining from TaeTae. Jin walks in the room with a towel around his waist, "good morning y/n, how'd you sleep?" he asks coming in and grabbing some clothes
"I slept amazingly, I never knew your bed was this soft! Oh and why did all 4 of us end up here?" asking as he lets off the towel with his back facing me
"You and Yoon were cuddling into each other and would not let go, and Taehyung whined when Namjoon and I tried to pick you two up so he followed us and we figured that my bed was the largest." he explains putting on some clothes before turning back to me, "so i just slept in your bed to give you guys space." I smile as Yoongi sits up
"That was very nice of you, thank you so much! Last night was amazing. Want to do something together tonight?" i ask, Yoon rubs his eyes
"What do you have in mind" He asks
"Want to go clubbing?" i suggest
"Anywhere with music i'm good to go" Yoongi nods happily
"Yeah i'm good to go" Jin nods, "but it may be a bit harder to convince the others" he sits down on the bed with us
"Then i better start working on them now" I smile standing up and leaving the room and heading to the bathroom to shower and freshen up. Once I'm out I see Tae leaving Jin's room so I run up to him, "Taetae will you do me the favour of coming with us clubbing tonight?" I ask with puppy dog eyes.
"But there is an overwatch tournament tonight" he pouts
"Pleaseeee" I beg, "it can be your birthday present to me"
"Fine! But you are not allowed to nag that i'm on my phone the whole time" he whines
"Thank you TaeTae you're the best!" I smile and kiss him on the cheek. I could have sworn I saw him blush but he quickly walked away. Looking down at my clothes and realising that I'm still in my towel, I quickly walk to my room and get dressed. I put on my black off the shoulder long puffy sleeved shirt and light blue baggy ripped jeans. Leaving my room, I turn left down the hallway and walked into our library looking for Namjoon. "Joonie" i said looking around, soon he pops his head around the corner of a shelf,
"Yes?" he asks
"I was wondering if you would like to come with me and the boys to the club tonight"
"No thank you" he walks around the corner now with a book in his hands sitting down in a chair.
"Why notttt"
"A bunch of sweaty hot bodies grinding against each other and a bunch of alcohol spilled everywhere is not particularly my thing"
"But it will be fun"
"No"
"Joonie, loosen up a bit, let's go have fun! i will save you a dance, I promise"
"Fine just because i love you" he sighs
"Thank you!!!" I give him a hug as he opens up his book, but I happen to catch a glimpse at the book, "Are you reading 'Me before You' again? You have read that multiple times since high school"
"I mean yeah if i'm not able to get the girl in my life then i'll have to settle with reading about love in books." He complains
"She still hasn't noticed your feelings? You have been crushing on her since before you decided to read this book. It's time you get the guts and tell her already" i suggest
"Trust me i have been trying by dropping plenty of hints but I will tell her soon enough"
"She will be a very lucky lady" I smile while walking away, Namjoon mutters something under his breath that I don't catch but I decide to just continue to walk away.
Walking out to the living room seeing Jungkook and Jimin playing a game so i walk over, "Hey Boys"
"Hi Ju!" They say in unison. Ju is the nickname the boys gave me, it originally was Gongjunim but that was long to pronounce so they shortened it to Ju.
"What do you guys have planned for tonight?" I ask innocently
"Nothing really" Jimin answers
"I'm taking a girl out to dinner in hopes that I'll get laid" Jungkook answers
"TMI jungkook. Actually, speaking of which, You need to start treating women like women not objects" I pout at him
"I do! That's why i buy them a meal first" He answers
"That's not what I mean" I smack him across the head, "Well since your busy with that girl then I guess you won't have time to spend with me" I pout trying to get under his skin, "I'll just go by myself"
"I can stand her up, where do you want to go?" he asks
"Well I wanted to go dancing tonight but I don't want horny guys grinding all over me to I wanted you guys to come and dance with me instead" i explain, they both nod
"We'll come with you Ju" Jimin agrees, I smile and give them both a kiss on the cheek and walk away, heading to the dance studio to find Hobi. I really enjoy living here, it has everything one could ever want in a house and more. When i reach the dance studio i walk in and see Hobi dancing with Tae.
"Hi Ju. Tae already told me that you were going to find me to ask to go clubbing. Yeah ill come sounds fun!" Hobi says as soon as I sit down on the ground in front of the mirror to watch
"Perfect! Thank you Hobiiiii" I smile widely
