Ayvee's POV

Walking down the stairs, everyone starts clapping for us.

"Everyone is looking at me."

"You are the king's date, I would expect them to." Thranduil says quietly.

"Well I'm not fond of it."

"Nothing can be good enough for you can it?" Thranduil asked, looking at all the people.

"No it can't." I smile, proudly.

We walk over through the people, Thranduil grabs a drink from the elf that walks around asking people if they want one.

We kept walking through, Violins and flutes start playing as background noise, along with the noise of every individual having their own conversations.

Once he feels good about where we rest to talk, He stops and turns to me, "If anyone asks. Your name is Ayvee.. alright?"

"Ayvee?"

"Yes." He looked to the side for a split second before returning his eyes to mine.

"..Okay?"

Thranduil nodded. More like a nod of reassurance to himself.

He then continues to look away, taking a drink from his cup.

"You seem stressed."

He quickly looks back at me, "Can I call you Ayvee from now on?"

"Oh instead of, "that one girl I hate?"

He paused.

"I don't particularly hate the people I ask to a ball." He said.

"Oh but you still despise my every move."

"If you want me to hate you, I can." He had his usual expression of nothing.

I looked at his eyes for awhile trying to figure what he was thinking.

"No, I do not want-"

He looked down at me with a small side smirk, then takes another drink.

"Okay. Hate me. Do what you want."

His smile grew bigger.

I shook my head and looked away.

I watched all the elves talking to each other. Most had a drink in there hand. It is definitely all very expensive wine.

"I did not expect to see so many people." I turn back to Thranduil.

His eyes are slightly widened as he looked back up at me, "I am very popular."

Legolas's POV

"They are getting along."

"That should be a good thing." Sylvia reassures me.
