I woke up, to the sound of my dear little sister on my stomach, giving me the most rude wake up one could imagine.

"Kotori my dear sister..." I began.

"Oh, what is it my dear brother?" My sister, Kotori, asked me.

"Mind if you get off me...you're heavy..." I strained to say, as my vision suddenly improved.

She jumped, I could see it before it happened. I rolled against the wall as soon as she got into the air. Her kick ended up on the mattress as I covered my head with the blanket. Kotori frowned and got on top of me.

"Wake up, wake up big brother!" Kotori exclaimed.

I sighed to myself.

I have the Sharingan activated, might as well.

"...run away, Kotori." I told my sister.

"Eh?" Kotori stopped immediately.

"I just got infected with a virus...if you don't let me sleep for 5 minutes, I will send my little sister to tickle hell." I warned Kotori. "Also known as the T-virus."

"W-what?!" Kotori yelped out. "But what about you?"

"Forget about me, just run!" I told Kotori, pausing for dramatic effect.

I put my scariest face on, and then lept out of the covers and growled at Kotori, rushing at her. Kotori shrieked in terror and ran away crying in terror. I sighed soon as she was gone.

I could not go back to sleep, which disappointed me, so I got up and looked at myself in the mirror. My Sharingan so far had 2 tomoe, which was a bit of a surprise when I figured out I had it at first.

I closed my eyes and relaxed, and then opened my eyes again to see that they were back to normal. It was always so hard to keep them hidden, as they would activate whenever I felt I was in danger.

Oh that was right, I was supposed to make breakfast today. I remembered.

Mom and Dad are currently at a job overseas, so the title of housekeeper and cook feel on me. I sighed and got dressed.

Mini-Time Skip

I walked down the stairs, still a bit tired, I yawned.

Huh?

I looked inside the living room and it looked like a mess, the coffee table was on it's side facing the living room door. The chairs were shoved half-hazardly in between the couches to make walls and the table cloth and some blankets covered the 'fortresses'.

Oh well, what's the harm in having a little fun? I asked myself as I got on all fours.

I stealthily crawled over to one of the couches and pulled off the blankets with one motion and roared at Kotori. Kotori screamed and ran against the wall, looking to the left a right for a route to escape, shivering in fear all the while.

"Hey its alright now, no need to worry, it's me." I told Kotori, deactivating my Sharingan.

"Big brother...is that you?" She asked, still quite fearful.

I rose my hand as if I were swearing an oath.

"All good now, I am Kotori's friend!" I declared.

Kotori slowly relaxed when she heard my words, before a smile grew on her face.

Time Skip

The TV showed the lasted news as I cooked the omelet. I could make out what was on it, despite most of my attention being on the pan in front of me.

"Another one huh?" I asked as I folded the omelet with my chopsticks.

Spatial quakes, natural disasters that would-will wipe out anything that was in it's path. The first one had taken place 30 years ago, the infamous Eurasian Spatial Quake has wiped out great portions of China, Mongolia, Manchuria, and Korea in one go. Ever since afterwards, smaller scale Spatial quakes had occurred around the world

"Yep, and they are happening earlier than planned." Kotori whispered in an ominous tone.

Earlier than expected? That was a very very strange, very strange thing to say when you are faced with the news of a few blocks of a street are blasted off of existence. I thought to myself. But there is something stranger.

"Oi!"

I rushed over in front of Kotori, taking her by surprise. She gasped, revealing the lollipop in her mouth. I tried to grab it but Kotori was quicker to close her mouth. I tired to pull it out with no avail, I sighed.

"You know sweets aren't allowed before breakfast." I sighed again. "Just remember to brush you teeth well after ok?"

"Umu, don't worry about it." Kotori said, taking our her lollipop momentarily to smile at me. "I love you Onii-chan."

We both sat down at the table and begain to eat the omelets I made.

"So, any idea what we should eat after the first day?" I asked.

Kotori's eyes lit up.

"Delux Kids Meal!" She excitedly exclaimed as she jumped from her chair.

"Isn't that in that one place?" I crossed my arms. "Sorry, but we don't serve it in this establishment."

"Aw, but can we go, pretty please." My sister said, putting the cutest face she can.

I took a bite out of my toast

"Fine."

"Remember, we will meet up here for lunch no matter what." Kotori reminded me in front of the restaurant she chose.

"Of course, I won't forget, I will be here no matter what." I told Kotori.

"Even when there is an Terrorist attack?"

"Doubt they will be open in a Terrorist attack." I answered sheepishly.

Kotori pouted.

"Don't forget ok, see you later." Kotori said with a smile as she waved goodbye. "Remember, be here even of there is a spatial quake."

I waved goodbye back.

Crazy girl. I thought to myself as I continued my way to school.

I applied my contacts on my eyes, I never wanted people to see my Sharingan.

Time Skip

"So this is the place." I said to myself as I sat down and looked around.

Not too many familiar faces. Thought as I looked around.

Everyone was very excited and happy about the new year of school. Everyone was talking amongst friends, making plans, all but me.

"Itsuka Shido." I heard call to me.

"Eh?"

I spun around to see a girl, she was wearing the school uniform like everyone else, her hair was white and cut short up to her shoulders. Her deep blue eyes met mine, making me feel uneasy from how cold they looked, enough for my Sharingan to activate behind the contacts.

"Um, who are you?" I asked the girl.

"You don't remember?" Girl asked.

There was a silence between us, that lasted for a few seconds before she sat at the seat next to me and began to read a book. An oncoming chop to the head brought me to my senses and I stopped it with my hand.
