lydia can't keep down blood.

But the second the blood hit Lydia's lips, she found herself gagging at the taste and spitting it back into the cup.

"Lydia, what is it?" Kol asked worriedly, watching as Lydia shook her head and placed the cup back down on the wooden nightstand.

"I don't know," Lydia admitted. The last time she had this problem, she was dying.

Kol took a deep breath as he thought of what to do. Lydia needed to feed. That much was obvious. He could tell she was weak right now. She hadn't had any blood in over fifteen hours and coughed up anything that she did have yesterday. He recalled the last time Lydia experienced something like this and what he did to help.

"Try feeding from me," Kol suggested."It helped you last time, did it not?"

Lydia nodded her head slowly, watching as Kol bit into his wrist and held it out to her. She slowly wrapped her fingers around his wrist, placing her mouth around the small wound and drinking his blood. The second it hit her lips, she didn't feel sick so she took that as a good sign. Even then, Lydia didn't take more than she needed.

"I told you that would work," Kol sounded proud of himself, resulting in a small smile from Lydia."My blood is superior to all others."
