——————————Colby wasn't allowed around the castle since last time he approached he tried breaking in and stealing the princesse's crown. He was known as a thief around the community.
In fact, he was one of the best thieves around. He's been caught a total of two times. Once when he was younger and just starting to learn everything there is to stealing. And the other was only a couple months ago when he broke into the castle.
He was walking quietly around the halls when a guard had caught him and they threw him out.
He loved the adrenaline running through his veins when he was stealing. He lived for that adrenaline. He loved it when he tried to steal from the castle. His palms were sweaty and he was making sure every step he took was perfect. He hasn't felt like this since he was younger and tried stealing from a high end store for the first time.
Tonight he planned to go back and break into the castle. Since his first failed attempt he learned the surroundings to the castle. He even learned the layout.
I mean just a few google searches and then you know where the king and queen sleep, where the kitchen is, the ballroom, bathrooms, and most importantly where the princess's crown was.
Of course it was put into a highly secured room. That thing is worth a fortune, and Colby wanted it.

"Good morning dear." Mom said as I walked into the dining room.
"Morning." I say sitting down across from her.
Soon servers come and set down breakfast for me and a glass of apple juice.
"Where's dad?" I ask looking around the room and then back to my mother.
"He's outside checking something out." She says as she cuts into her sausage.
"Oh okay." I say as I grab the napkin and carefully place it on my legs.
"Oh yes, later your father and I will be gone for today and tomorrow. We have to go out of town to see William and Rebecca." She says as she finishes off breakfast, she gets up and starts to leave.
"Why aren't I coming?" I ask confused.
She looks back at me. "It's more of a King and Queen matter." She says and walks out.
I roll my eyes. She always tells me that when I can't go with them. Usually they try to keep me in the castle so I'm safe.
I hate it.
They always tell me I'm like a kid, but how am I suppose to "grow up" when they never let me?
I finish off breakfast and head back towards my room to get ready for the day. I put on my sparkly pink dress and some clear high heels to match.
I prefer to do my own makeup so I did it today. Hopefully mother doesn't find out.
The day goes by rather quickly. Mom and Dad leave for their "King and Queen" crap, leaving me alone. Well there are guards but it doesn't matter because i'll still find myself feeling lonely.
Night falls and I head over to the ballroom. I like dancing, it's more of a thing to do in my spare time.
I turn on some simple piano music and start dancing. I try to practice the dance mom taught me when I was younger. I was never good at it so eventually I gave up.
It's suppose to be a two person dance but since again I am lonely I just pretend I'm dancing with someone.
I get sucked in and soon I am on pilot mode. My legs, arms, and hips are moving on their own. I'm humming the rhythm and letting time go by.
"You're doing the dance wrong." A voice echos through the ballroom.
I freeze.
I twist my head around as my eyes meet blue ones.
"Who are you?" I say, I feel my heart basically beating it's way out of my chest.
"Doesn't matter." He says walking towards me.
I take a step back every time he takes one forward.
"You need to leave immediately or I'm calling the guards!" I say backing up even more.
Soon i'm backing up too fast for my feet and I feel myself falling backwards. Before I can hit the ground a strong arm is around me. My eyes go wide. He helps me back to my feet smirking.
"Almost fell there princess." He says chuckling.
