How many times she had been treated like a fool.

Marlene thought about it while she looked at two photographs, the first one was the one of her sister Solange, the other one, was the one of the man with whom she had been in love for five years and who did nothing else than delude and disappoint her.

She had never had an unscheduled decision or one that followed her dreams.

Yet she felt that this time there would be something different...

Exactly five years ago she had met Laurence, her charming boss, he had entered the office as fast as he had entered her heart, to tell the truth, it had taken yes and no 4 minutes for her to fall completely in love with him.

But five years hadn't been enough to make him fall in love with her, and she had also completely lost her hope when he had decided to marry another woman who would then unfortunately die in a plane crash.

She had helped him when he was depressed by the death of his beloved Euphrasie, as if it hadn't hurt her to hear after every sobbing phrases like: "I lost the woman of my life, the only one I've ever loved".
