The Next Day
Elena sat on her bed, staring down at the beautiful ring Harry had given her the night before. The diamonds sparkled in the light and made tiny within the crystals. Elena sighed happily. But she didn't even want to think about how much it must have cost...
Ding ding ding
Elena jumped off her bed and ran downstairs. It was probably Charlotte, who was coming over to help Elena get ready for the little get together with the boys.
"Hello!" Charlotte said as Elena opened the door. Her overly cheery friend skipped into the house, her black curls bouncing.
"Hey Charlotte," Elena said, grinning.
"Ohmygod is that the ring?!" Charlotte squealed, grabbing Elena's hand.
"Yeah," Elena said, blushing.
"Ohmygod that is so cute!" Charlotte squealed again. "Okay, come one we've got to get you ready!" Charlotte grabbed Elena's hand and bounded up the stairs. As soon as she was in Elena's room she began pawing through her closet.
"Okay, so is this a fancy event or more casual?" Charlotte asked.
"Harry didn't say, but I'm guessing casual. I mean, it's just us, the boys, Eleanor, Danielle, and Perrie. It should be pretty casual. Harry would've told me if I should've dressed up."
"I cannot believe you get to hang out with them! I'm super jealous," Charlotte said. Elena felt kind of bad for her friend, who knew Elena got to hang out with their favorite band. Elena had offered to try to hook her up with Niall, but Charlotte had declined, saying Liam was the one who stole her heart. But, obviously, Liam wasn't an option.
"I'm sorry hun," Elena said.
"Eh, it's alright. I'll find someone someday," Charlotte said as she went back to digging through Elena's clothes. She took out a pair of Elena's comfy jeans and tossed them at her. "These make your butt look good." Elena laughed as she slid into them.
"Aaaand, this shirt," Charlotte said as she tossed the shirt at Elena. It was an olive green button up shirt, with sleeves that were rolled up to Elena's elbows. After putting it on, she looked at herself in the mirror, and had to admit, she did look good.
After putting on the light amount of makeup she always used and tousling her long brown hair, Elena was ready to go.
"Okay, Harry should be here in-"
Ding!
"Now," Elena said, laughing. She and Charlotte bounded down the stairs.
"Hey," Elena said as she opened the door.
"Hi there," Harry said with a huge grin on his face. "You look great. Are you ready to go?"
"Yupp!" Elena walked out the door, follow by Charlotte, who was a little tongue-tied. "See ya later Charlotte!" She called. Charlotte had already started heading to her car. She just turned around and nodded, looking a bit dazed.
Elena climbed into Harry's car, and they headed to Rico's a local seafood restaurant.

"There she is!" Niall said as he ran over to Elena, smothering her in a hug.
"Niall!" Elena exclaimed, hugging her friend back. "It's good to see you."
Then all the boys stood up from their table and gave Elena a hug. Even Danielle stood up and gave her a hug. Out of the three girls, Elena had gotten along best with Danielle, and they were already pretty good friends. Elena and Harry sat down Next to each other. On Elena's other side was Niall. All through dinner they talked animatedly about various topics. They went from Elena's graduating and where she wanted to go to college to the tour, to the new album, to Liam and Danielle's new puppy, to Louis and Eleanor's vacation, and so on. They were at the restaurant for nearly two hours, celebrating.
