Photographs of Life:

~*~

"Adalia!! Get Up! Breakfast is ready!"

Yeah, you heard right. My name is Adalia Rosien. I am turning 19 and soon to be moving out of my mum's home. I'm a wee bit scared to live alone but I think I could handle it.

I was planning to move to London to study photography. I love to take pictures of almost every moment of my life. Even the worst ones. But since the day my dad was killed in front of me, I had a trauma with taking pictures again.

You know it's weird to think something simple as that could scare the living hell out of ya, but therapy says it has to do with something about psychology. Even if it was something you treasure the most.....

*Flashback*

"Adalia, don't forget to close the door". My father said, getting in the car, starting it up.

"Yes, sir", I said as I took a picture of him telling me to close the door.

I took another one as shut the door.

When I turned around to take a picture of my dad in the car, a man had comed up and shot him.

*BANG BANG BANG*

I screamed.......

~*~

Ever since that day I was scared to pick up my camera and see the photo of my father dying, its the last picture I've taken since the incident, I thought I would get over it by the time I applied for college but it's not that easy..... to think that he was a victim a madman.

After that it took me months to move on from the death of my father, and I had later gotten a scholarship for a Photography Univeristy at London and mum had decided it was time to move on and to move there to continue my passion of Photography. And get over the trauma I had.

I went down the stairs and sat down. My mum was waiting for me with a feast, waffles tea and milk with tea cookies, eggs, and hash browns, (despite my rather skinny self, I could eat like two grown men, or so my mum says...).

My mum still looked rather young for her age. She was only 35 and still had beautiful blonde curls. She also had beautiful green eyes. As for me, I had my dad's blue eyes but still had my mum's blonde curls. But unlike hers, mine was frizzy like crazy, trust me, it's not easy managing curly hair..

"Eat as much as you can, Adalia. I don't want you starving at London" my mum says, knowing the lot I can eat.

"I won't starve, mum, but I will miss your cooking", I say honestly.

I was leaving tomorrow morning and my mum was happy for me but also sad to have her daughter leave her. I knew that I would visit her but I was still going to miss her dearly.

I couldn't wait...
