Chapter 2 ♢

You had arrived at cesars house about 20 minutes ago And had gone inside with Mark.
"Why does he have security cameras again? Don't you find it sketchy he called me over for just security cameras?"
"It is a bit sketchy now that you tell me about it.. He had security cameras cause he had gotten robbed I think? But he never has them on.." you keep getting paranoid so you keep looking behind you as mark is getting the cameras set up
"You have to be shitting me.. One of the wires are torn."
"Then why did he call us over?? To fix it while he takes his mom to the hospital??.. Mark I don't feel good about this."
"Neither do I but cesar is my best friend, so I'm willing to help him out. Just keep an eye out in the hallway for me will you??"
".. Alright I can perhaps do that" you sigh to yourself and look down in the hallway but you see a pair of white eyes down the hall.. Wait a minute. What is that?
As you stared down the hall you are met with a pair of white pupils down the dark hallway.
". . .mark look down the hallway right fucking now"
"I can't, Can't you see im trying to fix the damn cameras??"
"Mark- this is urgent, look down the all way.."  mark let out a sigh but got up and looked down the hallway, to see what exactly you we're looking at. . . The white pupils
That seemed to stare you both down as you both stared right back at it.
"Y/n..we need to fucking go now."
That's when you hears "it" speak

"Hello?"

"Mark?"

"Y/n?"

"Is that you?"

That.. That's not him.. It can't be! "Don't..dont respond to him y/n..thats not cesar. Not anymore" mark whispered
You stared at those white eyes... That are staring right back at you. Drilling into your head.
Out of no where mark pulled out a weapon and shot at it then grabbed your wrist and you both began to ran

But when you looked back

It was Gone.

Mark and you both ran to the front door. Getting outside and coming to a stop near your car

"Mark.. it didn't follow us? Where did it go?"
Mark looked over uncertain
"Just because we don't see it doesn't mean it isn't here."
"...let's just get out of here."

And so you did
You both got into your cars and drove off.
Leaving whatever that thing was behind.. You hoped.
As you began to drive, you began to think to yourself. Why did it sound so much like cesar? How did it manage to sound..so much like him?
You didn't think that these alternates were so much more then you thought they were. Whoever had created these THINGS had to be as to a reason to why cesar had acted so strange and divorced you out of thin air. If you think about it, no one just- divorces someone without reason. That's not cesar.

How did you not realize?

That wasn't the cesar who cherished and loved?

You continued to drive, but the road seemed as if it were to be endless. You started to feel as if you lost your way back home. How? Your not to sure yourself.
As thoughts were swarming your head

You weren't paying attention.

A truck was coming right infront of you.

You didn't have time to think
So you made a quick turn, but not quick enough.

You went flying with the car off the road, crashing into a tree and possibly dying or being knocked out. How would you know? You couldn't tell..you really couldn't care to.

You just wanted him back.
