VOICES

Jericho never knew how to get anything right. Her whole life, her father would belittle her. He

would make fun of her for trying to make something of herself and on days like these, she couldn't

help but feel like she should've stayed at home playing dress up.

The clock ticked every second and every second, Jericho felt like she was losing air.

Soon, the walls were closing in and only darkness was surrounding her. Just then, a stranger took

her out of her trance by sitting down right next to her.

"Didn't think that they'd let someone claustrophobic stay out here all by themself." The mysterious

man said. Yet his voice didn't show boredom, in fact the man seemed rather amused. Jericho didn't

know what was going through her mind. She didn't even know what made her engage in the conversation but she responded nonetheless. "I'm not claustrophobic assshole."

Jericho mentally slapped herself. Why did she respond like that. It was a good question with the way she was freaking out."Feisty, I like it when girls are malicious to me." Jericho sighed. "Okay, I did deserve your sarcasm. I'm sorry I was just having a bad day." The man leaned back and smiled.

"It's fine. There's no way anyone could have a good time if they're in this place." The blue-eyed man mused. Jericho couldn't help but agree.

"This place is pretty shitty. I don't even know if there is something wrong with my mind." Jericho thought aloud.

"I think that too though, my brother does say I'm mental so I just trust him." The man replied. Jericho didn't have a clue on what drew her in but the man piqued her curiosity. "So, what are you in here for?" Jericho asked. The man smiled. It should've been unnerving but something about his smile was oddly comforting.

"I got sent here because I tried to kidnap my brother's girlfriend. I kept hearing this voice and ittold me to do it. Turns out I started having some screws loose in my head." The man sighed before he closed his eyes.

Jericho bit her tongue. This man was for sure crazy? Or was he? She often heard a voice that she wouldn't consider her own that would speak to her.

Jericho didn't know what to say. Something was drawing her in to this man whether it be good or

bad, Jericho couldn't tell the difference but, something deep down inside of her wanted to know more about the possibly mental man next to her. Something tempted her to the point where she

wanted to see where this was going.

Jericho took a deep breath before she let her mouth take the wheel.

"Do you ever feel an emotion like depression, sadness, or a rush of craziness that doesn't feel

natural or like your own emotions?" The golden eyed woman asked.

The Silver haired man hummed.

"Absolutely... umm..." She bit her cheek. If she were to tell him her name, then they'd be acquaintances. Jericho didn't even know if this man was stable. She didn't even know if she was stable yet, she felt drawn to the silver haired man. Before she knew it, she found herself

responding.

"Jericho."

The man hummed.

"Estarossa."

"I think we're gonna get along well." He mused as he looked at the lavender haired teen."Yeah." The woman spoke as the pair sat in silence.
