Bens POV:
everything has been peaceful since we've gotten on the boat. No dinosaurs to stress over, no interruptions, and no Kenji. Of course Kenji is here, but since he has to steer the boat we don't really hear from him. the only time we heard from him was when it was lunch time.
I grabbed some grubs and berries and decided to eat on the couch, I assumed everyone was just going to eat when they were hungry but after Sammy saw me eating she told everyone to come eat, leading to me, Darius, Yaz, Sammy, and Brooklyn sitting together and eating.
3rd person
Yaz: These small hotdogs taste so gross, but at least it isn't canned fruit
She started picking at her food, Everyone silently agreed as they all made faces while eating the hotdogs.
Ben: if you want you can try some of these Grubs, they taste bland but the texture is amazing
Ben started scooting the plate of bugs closer to the middle for someone to grab
Brooklyn: no offense Ben but I think I'd rather have carob juice then bugs.
Ben: Try one, I'll give you the rest of my Berries if you try one.
Ben looked around smirking to everyone, seeing if someone would dare take a bite of his grubs. Berries tasted like heaven compared to these hotdogs, someone had to take the bait.
Brooklyn: yeah, no thanks. Ima go see what Kenji is up too, I'm sure he's hungry.
She quickly left, leaving Ben's torturing for the rest of the group.
Sammy: it can't be THAT bad, can it... ?
She picked up a bug and lead it close to her mouth...
Darius: yeah that's not worth it.
Darius moved from where he was and scooted closer to Ben, taking some of his berries. Ben looked in disbelief, he was to stun to speak.
Sammy immediately moved the bug away from her mouth.
Sammy: THATS NOT FAIR, YOU JUST LET HIM TAKE IT AND TRY TO MAKE ME EAT A BUG?!
Kenji and Brooklyn come around the corner listening to the past two minutes of what just happened
Kenji: FREE FOR ALL
Everyone starts digging into ben's berries. Ben looked at Darius as he ate a handful of his berries. Ben's face was pretty much saying "you bastard. You are gonna pay for this." Darius was laughing when all of a sudden a compy comes out and takes some berries from Darius's hand.
Darius: WHAT.
Ben started laughing so loud while everyone starts looking at the compy running away.
Kenji: that can't be good, if that compy messes with the engine or our food we will never make it to Costa Rica.
Brooklyn: He's right, we should capture it and lock it in a room.
Sammy: where did it go? We otta find it.
Darius: alright, everyone grab a bucket from the closet. Brooklyn, make enough space in the closet for it to go. Sammy and Yaz you stay on the outside incase it's still out here. Kenji pack up the food and put it away. Ben you can go into the rooms incase it went that way.
Ben: what about you?
Sammy: yeah, what are you gonna do?
Darius: uhh
Ben: the rooms have a lot of space for hiding, you can come help me.
Darius: find I'll go help Ben then, alright let's find a compy!
