your phone buzzed and you got exited to see that it was dylan who texted you.

you put your phone down and went to go find the perfect outfit. after searching in your closet for what felt like forever, you finally found what you are going to wear.

you put on a basic white tank top and put on one of dylan's hoodies that you "borrowed" from last time you were at his apartment, you put on a pair of black leggings that make your butt look great and dylan's white beanie that had some dandruff in it. you put on your shoes and text dylan telling him you're on your way.

the car ride felt like it would never end, for some reason you were nervous even though you have been friends since you guys were little kids, you always go round to his so why does it feel so different now? you decide to try ignore it at play some music Talking to the Moon by Bruno Mars. dylan always sings this song so you played it to try calm you down.

finally you arrive at his apartment and take the elevator to his room. you take a deep breath before you knock on the door *knock, knock, knock* "HOLD ON ILL BE THERE IN A SECOND" he yells. you giggle to yourself because you know why he needed a second. He opens the door and his bloodshot eyes found yours "sorry, i was filming a tiktok, you know how it is" you smile because you do in fact know how it is. "gotta make that content right" you both laugh.

"anyways come in" he says as you follow him into his apartment. it's kinda messy, the sink is filled with dishes, there's clothes on the floor, some trash lying around but you like it. "i actually have a suprise for you y/n" you look at him a bit shocked "oh really?" you said in anticipation. "mhm follow me" he guide you down the hall to his room, his door is closed. "close your eyes" he commanded. you follow his orders and close your eyes waiting for what's behind the door.

as he opens the door he grabs your hand and leads you into his room ad he closes the door behind you. "ok you can open your eyes now" as you open your eyes they grow wide with shock and your mouth practically hits the ground. in front of you was his ring light and phone set up. "dylan...are you serious?" you look at him in shock, "yeah, i want to do a duet to Talking to the Moon with you, because you're special" he smirked at you. he's so charming.

you both stand in front of the camera as he gets tiktok ready for you guys to sing together. "you ready?" he asks, "yup!" you say excitedly, he laughs at how eager you are. he pressed the record button and you guys begin to sing "i know you're somewhere out theeeere, somewhere far awayayayyyy..." you both sing in what you guys think is harmony but you are both really tone deaf and you actually sound like trash.

once you guys finish the duet you look at eachother and smile, you shared a really intimate moment with your friend, you thought it was beautiful. dylan captions it "we just had to do it 😄". "thank you dylan, this is the best thing anyone has ever done for me" you try to fight back the grin that appearing on your face but you can't help it. dylan grabs his phone and walks out of the room. but before he is fully out of the room he turns around to look at you for a second and says "you're welcome stinky" and walks off.
