You and Mark had been dating for a while, your relationship with him was very affectionate and you two talked a lot but lately things got weird. He cut off all contact with everyone from what you heard, Mark also didn't show up at school during that time.
You were laying on your bed, looking at the ceiling wondering what happened with Mark. Fuck it, you thought, I'm gonna go check up on him. You got off the bed, put on a shirt and some jeans. You got downstairs and put some shoes on and got out the door.
You made your way towards your car, hopped in and started the engine. Your car started pretty fast and you drove towards Mark's house.Once you arrived at his house, you knocked on the door and his sister, Sarah, answered. "Hey, Y/N. Are you here for Mark?"
"Hi, Sarah. Yeah, it's just i'm worried.." you said, worry was clearly heard in your voice. "Yeah, Mark had an...incident.." Sarah spoke, something sounded off clearly. You looked at her with a confused face but you knew something bad must've happened.
"Come in" Sarah said, leaning to the side so you can enter. You entered and made your way toward Mark's room. You entered and Mark was laying on the bed, sleeping you assumed. You went toward his bed and sat down next to him.
"Mark?" you spoke, he quickly opened his eyes and looked at you. Tears started forming in the corners of his eyes as he embraced you. You hugged him back as he mumbled about how much he missed you and stuff like that. "So...What happened?"you asked softly.
"I..I encountered an alternate, Y/N. Cesar's gone, he's dead." Mark said. "Cesar attacked you?" you asked, surprised to find out that. "Yeah..I'll explain everything to you.." Mark said as he started to explain how Cesar called him.
Cesar asked him to come over to turn on the security cameras because he was going to the hospital with his mom. Mark agreed, went to his house and turned on the cameras and left afterwards. However..Cesar's mom was actually dead and he wasn't talking to Cesar.
He was talking with an alternate that stole Cesar's identity. That thing entered Mark's house but Mark somehow managed to get out of that alive. Thank God he was alive. You hugged Mark closer relived to know he was okay now.
You were relived to know that the love of your life was alright and you hope that Cesar's alternate won't show up to ruin your lives ever again. "I'm sorry, Y/N...I'm so fucking sorry for making you worry over me.." Mark said through sobs.
"Shut up please..It's not your fault, love..Please" you said "I'm glad you're here in my arms". And you were happy that he was here in your arms. You two cuddled as Sarah watched from the door smiling at you two, grabbing a camera to take a photo for memories. _________________________________________
