Soulmate au angst

In this worlds soulmates are a thing. Whenever you meet your soulmate a red string connects both of them. The string can also break if the other doesn't like the person.

Izuku and Katsuki are soulmates they knew it since they were 5 but their relationship was never good. Izuku was quirkless and Katsuki's ego made him bully izuku.

"Why are you even my soulmate?! I hate you, your just a useless deku." "B-but I can still be a hero!" "No! You can't quirkless people can't become heroes".

With that Izuku's heart was broken. His childhood friend and soulmate just told him he couldn't be a hero. Their relationship throughout the years didn't change and eventually Izuku lost feelings for Bakugou. Their sting broke and Katsuki realized how much he hurt deku and his feelings for him but it was too late. Izuku had moved to America after middle school.

Years later Izuku is now a famous model. Katsuki decided to meet and apologize to him. Maybe get their string to join back again.

"Hey...How have you been?" "Oh me? I have been doing absolutely great." "That's great..." "So what did you wanna talk about, I have shoots to attend after this." "I wanted to apologize for my actions back in middle school. I was a huge jerk to you. My pride took over me all those years."

An awkward silence filled the room. Both were debating on what to tell to the other.

"Fine I forgive you, but that doesn't mean we can be friends you still need to earn it back"

"It's fine I deserved it after all the things i have done to you"

Suddenly izuku's phone rang and he picked it up.

"Oh hey babe do you need something?"

When katsuki heard that his whole world shattered. Izuku who was his soulmate was now dating someone else.

"You have a boyfriend?" Katsuki said trying to act normal.

"Yeah I do. We met in America and started dating shortly after" Izuku said with a smile.

"That's great, how long have you both been dating for?"

"We have been dating for 5 years about to hit 6. Speaking of that we are getting next married next week."

Katsuki's whole world shattered again. It felt like a arrow had gone through his heart and made a hole that can't be filled.

"I also wanted to invite you to my wedding" Izuku said handing out a card to katsuki.

"I will definitely be there"

Both males chatted for a while then left for their own houses. Katsuki went home and silently cried. He knew it was his fault.

The next week katsuki went to Izuku's wedding. There he saw Izuku and his dressed in white and black suits. When the wedding happened katsuki clapped for while silently crying.

"I am glad that your happy Izuku.."
