Quartzstar narrowed his eyes at Twistertail and Onyx-eye, flattening his ears in disbelief. "You want me to send my most valued warriors to fight the crazy ForestClan leader?" he said oddly. "Just because there's a chance he hasn't caught that small apprentice yet? It doesn't make sense. Are you sure you've interpreted this properly?"

"Of course! The prophecy said that 'many will wield the light', which is obviously Lightshine and Glowheart! And it never said anything about them failing." Magpiepelt said passionately.

"Alright, then. I'll go get them." Quartzstar slowly stood up and padded out of his den. Magpiepelt turned back to her two sisters, her expression unreadable. L

"So, how did it go?" she asked. "Did you point them in the right direction?"

"I didn't know he was going to run off and apparently kill the RockClan leader's apprentice..." Onyx-eye recounted. "I did tell the three healers and Squirrelstrike to travel upstream, but Brightstar has probably picked up their scent. Was there anything else you've figured out?" the black cat pricked her ears at the healer.

"I don't know. I have no idea what the prophecy means by 'joins the darkness' or 'search the shadows.'" the healer admitted, glaring down at her paws.

"I think I know why Brightstar ran off and killed that apprentice." Twistertail spoke up. "There were three cats prophecized to be the end of him, and Hollypaw was one of them, with Duskpaw and Sparkpaw being the other two. I just feel terrible for giving him that information..."

"But why would Duskpaw and Sparkpaw be the end of him if they survive? And why Hollypaw, too?" Onyx-eye wondered.

"That's not a problem right now." Twistertail straightened up. She could hear paw-steps outside. Not a moment later, Lightshine and Glowheart entered the den.

"Hey, guys! What do you need us for?" Lightshine said enthusiastically.

"You two have been prophesied to fight Brightstar." Magpiepelt said simply.

"This isn't a normal request..." Lightshine noted, narrowing his eyes. "Usually when cats from other Clans ask me and my sister to do something, it's, like, a raccoon invasion or a fallen log they need moving."

"Why are we fighting the ForestClan leader?" Glowheart looked confused.

"Basically, four cats were told to have the power to kill Brightstar- Hailpaw of MireClan, Hollypaw of RockClan, and his kits Duskpaw and Sparkpaw of ForestClan. So, Brightstar got insecure about it and worked with Darkstar to kill Hailpaw at a gathering. And after his son got his first healer's dream at the Moonpond, he ran off to RockClan and killed Hollypaw. Now he's chasing after the three ForestClan healers and his mate, Squirrelstrike. Brightstar needs to be stopped before he hurts them." Onyx-eye explained quickly.

"Wait! What if he killed Sparkpaw before we left?" Twistertail said suddenly.

"All we should be focused on is fulfilling the prophecy." Onyx-eye growled certainly. She sprang to her paws, waving her tail at the two CliffClan warriors. "Alright, let's go."

The sun gallantly fought through the thick clouds and the persistent rain, casting warm and welcome rays into the otherwise-cold morning. Twistertail could see the horizon far away from where she stood on top of the mountain, taking in the view as she caught her breath.

"It's cool, isn't it?" Onyx-eye commented. "But it's even better if you turn around."

"Oh, really?" Twistertail circled backwards to face the other direction. The fiery sun was almost blinding as it illuminated the entire valley. "Woah, look at that! I can see the farm from up here! And the DeltaClan islands look so small!" she marveled.
