Lidgare was watching the news about what happened at Ashenback laboratories Inc that it went up in flames. "Good riddance" she thought hoping that this would be the last time she would have heard of Dyn'leth's experiments that was until she heard something outside of her house. Lidgare went to investigate what the sound was and to her shock it was Schroeder and Owen. "This is not good" Lidgare thought knowing that Dyn'leth had rebuilt his laboratory and sent Schroeder out to capture whatever subject had escaped. Lidgare thought for a moment and realized she could distract Schroeder and Owen.
She wasn't going to let Dyn'leth kill another innocent person because of the sadistic experimentation he does. Quickly as she could she ambushed Schroeder and Owen. However they struck back and knocked out Lidgare quickly. "She must have been aware of what was going on here Owen I have an idea we take her hostage and demand the test subject back I know that Gendak would do anything to get his wife back" Schroeder said with a sickening grin
Owen thought for a moment and agreed as he knew that Schroeder had a very good plan in his opinion. The two began heading back to Ashenback laboratories Inc to discuss the plan with Dyn'leth. However they didn't expect a drake known as achaz to be spying on the situation. He knew everything was going to go horribly wrong and he ran straight to find the nearest airport to head for velious to alert king Mikacroak of what is going on. Once Achaz got to Skyshrine he headed straight to the king to explain everything that was going on. Mikacroak was furious that Dyn'leth took Lidgare hostage. And since he owes Gendak a favor he called a meeting to get the troops ready for all out war.
