It was a very, very normal, boring day in Miles City, Montana. Everything was boring. Boring people, boring schedules. The most exciting thing was Lewis and Evie breaking up, and John Micheal being thrown off the bucking bull. Let's rewrite this boring story into something positively magical, shall we?

It started with a certain occult, who have somehow found out how to use magic, which has been dead for a long time, just because there's so many people in the world. Damn cultists. They found a book, and used its spells. Exciting. Too bad they didn't last too long, because they screwed up so massively on a spell that they slowed down the moon. Enough so that the moon came spiraling towards Earth. This story isn't about them, though. That occult all died due to a fire that burst out after that drastic mistake. There's actual characters that don't die in a fire. Well, at least, not yet.

School had just gotten out for a young Terrance Smith-Valeire. It was time for them to enjoy the summer with their friends. They have a lot of friends, but they like their 'original' friend group the best. Buckle up, more characters to get emotionally attached to.

Stevie Cook, believe it or not, is actually a cook and a baker. He makes the best foods. From pastas to seafood (thank goodness), from bread to cookies, he knows it all. Probably one of the calmer people that Terrance knows of, he keeps people together. Also, he has a vagina.

Milo The Heretic, also known as Milo Brown, earned his nickname by disagreeing with the principal of their school (the name of which doesn't matter, it's going to get destroyed anyway). He claimed that the school was run poorly, and was verbally burned by the principal. He's a really kind person, and even joined some sports teams, only to leave them, because Terrance, Stevie and Jenny are so much better.

Speaking of Jenny, she's smart of course. She's a genius, and got straight A's throughout the entirety of her time in school. She also had a clean record, until the time she saved Terrance's ass after they got in a fight with Hubert Mose, the school bully. Her last name is Weiss by the way. She practically commands the cosmos by the way she walks. People want to be her, kind of.

Now, what about Terrance? Besides being called "Terry" most of the time, they're not too special. They let everyone be who they want, without any reprimands, punishments or anything else. Terry even protects the people that are different, which is why they got into a fight. Very interesting. A bit of a wild card, they can do a lot, thanks to their dad taking them around the world for interesting tours. It's very sad that their dad died.

Now, let's use the amazing powers of narration to zoom in, and see what these distinguished humans are talking about.

"...You know? I'm just saying that I'm glad that school's out!" exclaimed Milo. "No more homework, no more teachers breathing down your neck, and no more crappy school!"

"Which teachers are you talking about? All of them are quite nice." Jenny asked with a dew to her voice.

Milo gave Jenny a very specific glare, that says something like, "I still care, but fuck you." Jenny chuckled briefly.

"What are you guys doing over the summer?" Terry stepped in and changed the topic.

Stevie spoke, "I'm going to make a few cakes-"

"mHm." (if you don't know the sound, you don't know it)

"Shut up, Terry. I'm making a few cakes that fit in with things that I'm cooking in terms of theme, you know?"

"That sounds good!" Milo said, after the mention of Stevie's cakes. He likes Stevie's baking.

"Yeah! Too bad, I won't be in the state too much. I would've let all of you have some!"

A collective groan was heard over the group.

"Where are you going so far away, Stevie?" Jenny questioned.

"To Colorado to see some of my family!"

"As much as I'd like to stay for this conversation guys," Terry interrupted. "I have to get back home, or my mom'll worry."

After everyone's goodbyes, Terry broke off the group, and started to walk home. Walking through their neighborhood, Terry greeted some neighbors as they passed by. One of them was named Sally. An elderly fellow, Sally enjoyed playing chess with the old and young folk alike. Terry liked her a lot. She won some games of chess, they won some games of chess.

Terry walked up to the house and creaked open the door, storing the keys in their pocket, and closing the door behind them. It wasn't the most impressive house, by any means, besides impressively small. Being a big one, Terry hit their head on the door frame more than once. Thankfully, ducking was something common for Terry. After placing the year-worn backpack on a chair, they snuck into their room, and proceeded to go to sleep.
