When Midoriya's father left, his entire world revolved around his mother, the person who was there for him through everything. She was there when he found out he was quirkless, she was there when he came home with a bruised body and a shattered heart because all he wanted was friends, why couldn't he be their friend?! His mother was a force of nature throughout every bumpy moment in his life, shielding him, loving him, and being there for him. So when he is called to Nedzu's office to be told that she was kidnapped by the League of Villains, something really dangerous and primal awakens within him. His mentor and teachers, as well as his classmates, witness as the sweet boy sheds his skin and becomes something else in order to save his mother.
