The Valley Of Larimar

survival

It's June 27th 2034 day 12 me and Liz have been stuck in a tree for several days and there's 2 monsters down below,we are getting hungry and running out of options.

"We need to make a distraction" Liz suggested

I give a worried look and agree I break of a stick and throw it at a tree the monsters immediately run up to to it and check out the area  I jump down and start Sprinting as fast as I can while Liz behind me steps on a twig  "THEY SAW US QUICK KK,GO GO GO"

My eyes widen lunging my self to wards a cave entrance hoping there's a way out
I stop in my tracks realizing it's a dead end,They slowly aproch us and we get ready for a life or death fight.

Liz tells me to watch her back as she pulled out ur spiked bat charging towards them with a Smack to the head for the monster it's groned in pain and swiped it's hand knocking Liz over, I glance over to Liz it took bad damage on her I Ponce on the monster hiting its head repeativly as it hits me in my stomach multiple times I will not give up,I look around searching for a weak spot when I throws me back on the floor I grunt in pain watching my knife slide away from me,I go to look  back at Liz to realize she's no longer there,I panic and start crying have I lost her..

*THUD*
The moster falls over and behind it is Liz she found the spot ,I immediately jump up to give her a massive hug,I cry "I thought they ate you"

She drys my tears and replies with "nothing can ever kill me!,now come on the other 2 is almost here pull the balder over the entrance"

I smile warm and start helping Liz cover the entrance and light a match to see my surroundings,unsure of how we will get out..
Liz looks up and sees a massive hole at the top of the cave

"I think I found something*Liz points up

"Should be able to I'll boost u up" I say confidant that it would be a way out

I lunge up Liz "yup this is it" she would climb to the top and offer her hand I take it and blow out my match,
"Alright let's figure out what the sound was"

We walk up to a Rusty looking shack covered in blood,"let's take a look inside and get your bat ready"
I say to Liz unsure if we would be safe or not, we slowly lurk inside to see 2 dead children followed by a dead Rulia monster.."what is that doing here.." Liz says "they are normaly west.." I shake my head worried a foot step was heard
"Who's there!" I yell out
Out came a familiar face holding a little baby who is that we look at each other ovisualy thinking the same thing then the lady says "Liz?,Nina"

"How do u know our names." I say
"It's me Echo unit 4,you guys are unit 17"
"Omg echo hii" Liz says smiling happily
"Oh Hi echo."I would say
"This is jasmine,my aunties daughter they also died.."she would say with a long frown
"I'm so sorry" me and Liz say Insink
"Not ur fault but yeah.." she would say
"Do u wanna join us?" Liz would suggest
"In?"
"Surving oviously" u would say annoyed.
"Get ur stuff we will meet you outside"

A while later we are on the move and it's getting dark and the baby won't stop wailing,"Alright there right there we will set up camp and stay for a few days then see how it goes if we'll we will make it camp" I say instructivly pointing down the hills dip
"Sounds good"
I'd walk down the hill and slam down my backpack and pull out tent materials I'd spike down tbe poles on the floor and start building my tent
*Ting tic"
Was heard from left and right from the hammers banging on the poles
I let out a sigh of realf finishing the tent noticing a massive hole in it walking up the hill going on a seach for leafs twigs etc.

"Uh so just to be clear non of u got bit right.." Liz would say looking at my setup
"I don't think so." Echo would shrug
Liz would grab echos wrists making sure there's not bite and glancing at her neck.
"Check ur self while ur up the hill and jasmine,Ill start building my tent. She would say as her stomach grumbled.

Echo checked her self and the child and walked down the hill "could I be of help?"
"No just stay here and keep her asleep"
Liz would say smiling.

I would come back and patch up my tent.
"U guys hungry?" Liz said
"Yup staving" I would say grabbing my stomach.
"Yes" Echo would say
"Let's go hunt something, Echo stay here near camp u can get wood from around here to stray to far tho" I would say moving my hands around as I speak.

Me and Liz start walking in the woods when Liz points out "Nina..there's a fire over there in the mountains there's also a boar over there"

"Okay lets get that boar and go back". I would say shuffling my feet and pulling out my bow and arrow aiming it at the boars head I look over to Liz and notice her doing the same before I even said anything I mutter"Shoot" the arrows go flying both missing the boar and spooking it.
