Chapter 17: What NOT to Flirt

(Third POV)

The group woke up in the morning and after a huge breakfast they were insisted to eat by Melody, said their farewells and departed back on the road.

Mabel and Dipper were sitting in the cart. Dipper had offered a seat, but Bill insisted that he could walk and Will later joined him.

Now Bill and Will were walking side by side behind the horse pulled cart with Bill looking every so often at Dipper.

Will obviously noticed his brother staring at his crush and blurted out bluntly to him:

"You know staring won't get you any closer to being a couple. It's just creepy"

"Yeah, yeah" Bill rolled his eyes.

"Here's an idea. Why. Not. Tell. Him"

"Tell him what?"

"Gods, Bill you're hopeless. Actually more helpless. You like LIKE Dipper"

Bill sputtered with warming cheeks"I-I do not"

"Bill that face prove your point. You have a big crush"

Bill held Will back a bit so neither of the other siblings overhear.

"So what if I do? He's way too out of my league anyway"

"What do you mean? You're not out of his league... All you need to do is find the right words to say"

"What words?"

"Like... How you feel"

"Tell him how I feel... How do I do that?"

"Well tell me how you do feel, how it feels when you see him"

"I feel... Extremely gay"

"Ok ok. Maybe not that. What else would you say to him?"

"Well... I feel amazing when I'm near him. We're great together and would be the greatest couple ever. We're like Romeo and Juliet"

"Maybe don't say that. Cause in the story-"

"Ok fine, then like in ancient Greece. We'd be like Theseus and Ariande!"

"Never say that! Have you even read the Greek myth---!"

"Oh, what about like Jason and Medea? Couple goals"

"No! No! It doesn't---"

"OR like Orpheus and Eurydice"

"HAVE YOU EVER READ THE ENDINGS OF ANY OF THESE. ARE YOU TRYING TO JINX THIS---"

"Oedipus and---"

"NO! GOD NO! FOR THE LOVE OF GODS, STAY AWAY FROM THE SIMILES BILL CAUSE YOU MIGHT ACCIDENTALLY JINX THIS. DID YOU EVEN ACTUALLY READ THESE STORIES?"

'Technically no!"

"What are you two yelling about?" The boys looked up two see Dipper and Mabel staring confused at them.

"Bill was just being stupid that's all" Will said quickly. Bill didn't say anything in defence cause he didn't have any better excuse.

"Well... ok then. Say, do those clouds look dark to you. The storm should have already passed us. It did, but here comes another wave. This doesn't seem natural" said Dipper.

"Yeah it isn't" said Bill.

An: so I haven't written in over a month. Writer's block can be a b****. So look upon these short chapter. So sorry if this story is taking too long.

Also if anyone gets the irony of Bill comparing him and Dipper as straight couples and the other irony as to how the couples end... I love you you magnificent nerds and geeks like me.
