It was the night of the big championship game, the air was buzzing with the excitement of what was to come, and you were stuck playing D&D with your dorky little brother, Dustin, and his band of weirdos. Dustin had convinced you earlier that day to join his friend, Eddie's, campaign; he said that Lucas had quit on them last minute because he had to be there for his game. He promised to do all your chores for a month, and you couldn't possibly pass that up. So you ended up sat at the other end of a table from Eddie the freak Munson going full geek mode over his cult of Vecna campaign while the game of the season took place down the hall.

You'd never admit this to another living soul, but if you were honest you found D&D to be pretty fun, and Eddie definitely knew how to make it... entertaining. You and Eddie were both seniors, you were eighteen, so a bit on the older side for a senior, but he was nineteen and on his second  round of senior year, which was always a bit of a red flag for you.

You'd always found him to be attractive, but seeing how passionate he got as he revealed that Vecna had lived, or how excited he was for you when you rolled the twenty that killed Vecna, now that was a new level of cute for you.

The campaign had ended, and you were all walking out of the high school feeling triumphant with the success of both games. Dustin had told you that he was hitching a ride with Mike, so you were on your own when Eddie approached you.
"You were pretty rad in there. you should join us on a regular basis, become a real member of the club." He said as he peered down at you.
"Thanks for the invite Eddie, but I don't think my reputation could recover from that," you joked with him.
"Yeah you wouldn't want to become a freak now would ya".
"Oh I'm definitely a freak, just not the D&D kind", you winked at him and laughed at his shocked expression.
"Hey Henderson! What are you doing with the town weirdo?" you heard one of the jocks yell your way as he left the gym.
"Shut up Jake, I'm allowed to have friends that aren't boneheads like you",

Jake kept walking towards you, his gym bag slung over his shoulder, and a drink in his hand. He had always given you the creeps, you always felt like he may have had a bit of a crush on you or something, but if you were being honest you kind of hated the guy; he was always so quick to judge, or throw a punch, or both depending on his mood.

"Don't tell me they converted you Henderson" he said as he began to encroach on your personal space. You made eye contact with Eddie as you laughed awkwardly.
"What's it to you if they did or not Jake?" you questioned, getting more and more done with the conversation.
"Oh come on, there's no way you really enjoy that shit, so what's the real reason you were hanging out with the freaks?"
he got even closer to you now, completely blocking Eddie off from you.
"Believe it or not Jake I do actually find that 'shit' fun, so why don't you just leave and go celebrate with the boys or something?"
"you know what I think you'd have more fun doing?" he asked as he placed his hand under your chin, lifting it so you'd look him in the eyes. You stiffened, hating the way his touch felt, and growing more infuriated by the second.
"Me" he said as he leaned in to kiss you,
you slapped him clean across the face, causing Eddie to giggle from behind Jake.
"Oh you find this funny, do you freak?" Jake said as he whipped around to face Eddie. Jake looked him up and down, and as if he had had an epiphany, he turned back to you,
"Is that why you were playing that weird ass game with the geek squad?" he asked, with a venom in his tone.
"Is what, why?" you asked, more confused than you were a few minutes ago.
"Are you fucking the freak? Henderson? Huh? Is that why you've been with him and his little freak show all night?" He asked as he put the drink he was holding down on the ground.
"What the hell are you talking about jake?"
"You know I always thought you were a slut"
"Excuse me?" you said, baffled at what Jake was accusing you of right now.
"Why else did you think I was talking to you? I just figured you'd be an easy lay, another point in my little black book".
