It was a beautiful fall evening. Chrissy ran to home as a thunderstorm approaches the downtown New York. She was holding some papers in her hand . She was a south asian .
She finally managed to get into the subway as it started to rain.
She ran down to get the train but the train has just left.
"Oh shit, always late".
She leaned behind the wall and check on her mobile. She was the only one who was there at that time. Suddenly she heard someone running she looked up a guy running into the station. He was looking really handsome. Chrissy's mind went blank for a minute.
"Oh damnit".
He came near Chrissy. She came back to earth when he came near her.
"Uh hey, did the train to Bronx has left?".
"Uh yh , just now two minutes ago ".
"Oh oh, I've just moved here to New York a week ago, and i don't know the train schedule".
"Uh huh, well you should get to know the schedule ".
"Hmm yh, well I'm Adam McCall and you ".
"I'm Chrissy John nice to meet you ".
"And you are from"
" I'm from Bronx ".
"Oh Bronx wow , I'm also in Bronx which street".
"Hunt avenue..".
"Oh same".
Then the train arrived at the station.
They both get on the train. Adam wanted to walk her to her house. And she said yes , when they went near the house they realized that they're neighbors. They said byes and went home. That night Chrissy wasn't fine. Adam was stuck inside her head. She couldn't sleep. Adam's face flickered Infront of her whenever she closed her eyes. This was the first time ever she felt anything like this. She looked at the time it was 2 o'clock.
She decided to go downstairs to get some water. She took some water from the refrigerator and drank it. Suddenly she saw some movement in her backyard. She took a flashlight and a stick and went to the backyard. She noticed that it was from the neighbors house. She looked with the flashlight and she saw Adam down there.
"Whoa , you scared the hell outta me lady".
"Haha, Adam sorry i think i heard a trespasser".
" Sorry i couldn't sleep".
"Me neither".
She thought that he's having the same problem like her. They talked for sometime and she noticed that the time was 4 o'clock.
"Oh no, it's getting late I've gotta go , I've got work tomorrow talk ya later".
"Oh ok ok bye good night, haha actually morning good morning".
She went inside and tried some stretches and went back to sleep. In the morning when she was having her breakfast. Suddenly Adam came in to her mind. Her mom came and touched her shoulder. She was startled.
" What is it honey? Why are you looking so strange today?".
"Oh nothing mom just thinking about some work stuff".
She lied to her . She went off to work and saw adam came to home from jogging. He was looking handsome, a blonde boy with a well build body and a nice face , who wouldn't wanna take a look at him. She was looking at him for some time. But she startled and looked away when he saw her.
He said hi to her but she didn't said a word. She walked to the station quickly. Adam was like oh did I do something wrong, what happened to her. In Chrissy's mind Adam was stuck like a glue......
