S.MANJIROU [ WE'LL MEET AGAIN]

chapter 2

" s/n this is heavy! can you help me?! " y/n whined picking the last box in sight

" no it's the last one, you can do it " s/n said, she was lying on the sofa looking at what to order for food. " y/n don't you think it's pretty lucky how we managed to get our old house? "

dropping the last box in her room y/n turns the corner and says " i think it's a coincidence how it happened "

" you think everything that happens to us is a coincidence, it funny." s/n laughs, y/n walks to get a jumper and headphones

" i'm gonna go meet the neighbours, i'll be back soon! y/n says while walking out the door.

As y/n walking out she bumps into a short blonde boy, he looked oddly familiar to her but she brushed past it. she just said a quick sorry and walked off. the boy gave her a funny look on why she was so awkward about it but he didn't care either

*knock knock*

take a deep breathe y/n, you can do it!

a tall figure opened the door, he had striped shades of blue hair.

" what do you want? " his voice was deep, it made y/n jump a little

" erm... i- " y/n got cut off by the voice of a girl

" taiju stop being rude, i'm sorry about him. is there anything we can help you with?" she asked, the girl had a light brown hair and she was very pretty

" no, i just wanted to say hi as new neighbours! " y/n said with a polite smile " i'm y/n "

" yuzuha shiba! " she smiled. " wanna exchange phone numbers? "

y/n simply nodded as they swapped phones " it's been nice talking to you yuzuha i gotta go."

" bye! again sorry about my brother!" yuzuha waved with a smile

y/n waved and walked back into her house and she saw a bunch of food on the table.

" y/n come and eat, it's been a long day.  i bet you're hungry? " s/n waved me over to sit down opposite her to eat.

it was indeed a very long day, with moving all the boxes in the pair of them were extremely worn out. right after the sisters went straight to their rooms with a quick goodnight. s/n fell asleep straight away but it was a bit harder for y/n as she couldn't stop thinking about the boy she bumped into so she just chose to sleep on it.

the next day

" y/n wake up it's almost noon! you can't sleep forever " s/n said while shaking y/n awake " you have to go get your stationary for school, you start next week."

y/n slowly starts to wake up, she's a bit shaken but she's okay. walking a bit wobbly y/n walks to the bathroom to shower and brush her teeth. a vibrating sound was coming from y/n's phone, it was an unknown number calling her.

she picks up the phone

' hello?  '

'hello? who is this..

'you don't remember me? shame you really didn't keep your promise

' bro what promise? what are you talking about '

' jeez y/n the promise to never forget each other! '

'promise..? wait. manjirou?? '

' took you some time didn't it idiot '

' no way.. how did you even get my number? '

' i was talking to your sister and by the way a sorry would be nice you hurt my arm '

' oh sorry haha.. '

' god you're boring wanna hang out later? '

' can't i'm busy i gotta but my stationary for school next week, sorry '

' it's cool, see you later then? '

' it's set! '

" y/n are you ready yet? you have to go get your stuff " s/n asked shouting at the stairway

y/n running down the stairs  said a quick yes and ran out the house. she forgot she hadn't eaten and forgot her keys calmed down and knocked on the front door.

"s/n.. i left my keys can you open the door please?" y/n said in a quiet voice rubbing the back of her head

" coming, you're so stupid y/n you can't just run out the house like that " s/n was laughing at y/ns foolishness as she walked inside " you want toast? i can make you some proper food later " all y/n did was nod before going upstairs to get her keys. after s few minutes y/n came down skipping with her keys and some cash in her hand.

' right! i'm ready to go now! i've got money and keys and my phone. i'm all good! " smiling while grabbing the toast coming out of the toaster " i'll be back soon bye bye! " waving as y/n walked out the door.

" shit where did my headphones go? " y/n cursed under her breath searching her pockets, she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings she bumped into a tall blonde boy with a dragon tattoo on his temple. " oh i'm so sorry i wasn't looking where i was going "

" n/n you should look where you are going " it was the voice that was talking to y/n not that long ago
" sorry sorry i was looking for my headphones and i couldn't find them.." y/n laughed nervously " found them!! " y/n pulled some wired headphone out of her back pocket.
" it's no problem " the tall boy smiled and walked away.
it was getting pretty late and y/n forgot to get her stuff for school, she spent it all on food. when she got home her sister yelled at her becuase it was the only time she was available to give her money to go buy stationary
" how the hell did you forget? "
" well.. my mind drifted and i got hungry ! " y/n shrugged  " but.. i got dinner " a wry smile traces y/ns face
" shut up and sit down, the foods gonna get cold "  s/n name laughed " i'll get your shit tomorrow don't worry about it "
" thanks ! "  y/n smiled and hugged her sister
