I open my eyes. I'm in my bedroom now. I don't want to be here with my dads girlfriend. I need breakfast, what time is it here? I get my phone off of my nightstand to check the time. 8:00. Good my dad usually wakes up at 8:30. But so do I.
I open my door, and walk down the stairs to the kitchen. I get some Cheerios out of the cabnit, and pour them into my bowl. I get the milk from the fridge. "What are you doing up so early?" Amy, (my dads girlfriend) scowls at me.
"Listen Amy, this isn't your house, so I'd suggest you shut your pretty little mouth." Amy looks at me with pure rage.
"Me and your father are getting married." Amy says leaning on the table, smirking down at me. she thinks she's won. I sit up off my chair. "We'll see." "right after I get the money I'm out of here." Amy says calmly, while taking a sip of her coffee. I grip the table tightly, to stop myself from lunging at her. If I couldn't stop myself I would be ripping her apart right now.
She walks out of the room to the dinning room. She opens her laptop up and starts typing away. What a bitch.
She looks up to see me looking at her, "what's wrong?" She asks sarcastically well smirking down at her laptop.
I hear footsteps walking down the stairs. "Good morning babe." Amy says with her cup of coffee in her hands. "Good morning sweetie." My dad says smiling in her direction. "Do you guys wanna go out for breakfast?" My dad asks. "I'd love to babe. We probably shouldn't bring y/n though, you know some alone time, just the two of us." Amy says smirking. I think I'm gonna be sick.
"alright y/n ill bring you back something." "No!" Amy shouts out. My dad looks at her concerned. "I- I mean because it will be dinner by the time we're back. She might as well eat now." I glare at her. "okay we should go now Amy." Dad says, grabbing his keys from the side board. "love you sweetie." Dad says on the way out the door. I pour myself a cup of coffee, and sit down at the bar table.I nearly fall of my stool as I hear somebody walking around upstairs. I stand up and walk to the sink turning the faucet on, I walk to the dining room, leaving the faucet on. I hear what I believe to be foot steps slowly making their way down the stairs. I look around, in panic mode. I need to find a place to hide, and I need to find it in the time whatever is on those stairs, makes its way down them. I look at the closet. That's the first place someone would look if they were searching for a child. I close my eyes. I think of my room, the small details in my room, like the little things on my desk, The paperwork laying on my laptop. I open my eyes, and sure enough I'm standing right in front of my desk. Perfect. I smile as I think back to all those times I'd wished I could just disappear. All those times I wanted to leave the room, but no one would let me. If only I could have teleported then. I remember back to earlier and how I was in pans house, I don't want to bother him, but I would rather be safe then sorry. alright here goes nothing..
"y/n!" Pan says with excitement rising in his voice, he runs over to me. "What are you doing here?" He asks with a confused tone. "um, it doesn't matter, my dad left the house." "Okay well Felix and Devin would like to meet up with you so lets get going."
"Wait!" I say. Peter turns around in confusion. "Why?" He asks with concern. "I have to go back to my room." Peter stares at me for a moment before he makes his way over to me. "It's not safe for you to be in your house right now." "How?" I ask. "Theirs somebody in your house, is their not?" Peter says completely leaving me dumb found. "H- how did you know that?" I ask while taking a step back. "I have my ways." Peter says taking a step towards me. He slowly grabs my wrist, still looking me in the eyes. "We should go now." He pulls my wrist to his side as he turns back around and starts walking towards the door. I follow him simply because I trust him. Peter leads me down the pathway until we stop at a cabin the size of five or six put together. "Their waiting for you in their, I have to do something" Peter says as he starts walking back from where we came from. I open the door to see the boys at the bar table talking; I can't quite hear them from over here. "Oh hey y/n!" Devin says waving me over. "How have you been?" Felix asks me well staring at the bottle of beer in front of him, he picks the bottle of beer up and pours it into his shot glass, "want some?" He asks me. "I'm underage, thanks". I say as politly as I can. Devin and Felix stare at me. "What?" I say, a little weirded out at the fact their still staring at me. "Don't worry about it." Felix tells me."Did pan tell you why we needed you here?" "No."
"Well, y/n your here because pan wanted us to teach you a couple things about this island." Felix says looking over at Devin with a unfazed facial expression. "okay." I say a little hesitant. Felix stands up Scooting his chair to the side. "The first thing you should know is pan doesn't really stick around much, so don't expect to see him here a lot." Felix says, walking for the door. "C'mon guys". Felix say Motioning for me and Devin to follow him.
Devin looks at me, "don't worry pan will be back in a little bit." He smiles. "What does Peter do when he leaves?" I ask a bit curious at the fact he never told me where he was going." "That doesn't concern you." Felix says turning his head towards Devin in all seriousness, like if Devin did tell me it would be the end of his life.
"Keep walking." Felix says with irritation cloaking his voice. I do as he says and continue walking. "Peter should be back by now." Devin says to Felix. "You ready?" Felix says to both me and Devin "for what." I say with a cocky and irritated voice. Felix scoffs, "for you training" he says angrily as he grabs my wrist and pushes me in front of Devin, making me caged in between them. I roll my eyes and push past Devin. "Felix what is wrong with you!?" Felix says his voice piercing to my ears. Devin walks up behind me, "you can't tell Peter about that.." I see the worried expression on his face as he tells me. "Ple-" "tell me what?" Peter says walking up behind Devin. Devin looks at the ground in complete shock. "Nothing." I say feeling sorry for Devin. Peter sees the expression on Devin's face. Peter takes my hand. "Come on." He says as he pulls me down the pathway.
