A stunning view. A field of joy and play. Endless joy and play. But with joy must always come misery and tribulation.
Steve Stonecutter. The tall man that has a world to perceive. Although he has no relations with the world, or even himself for that matter, he's only had the drive to explore and continue. Progressing whether it be the beautiful Overworld or the trying Nether. Of course, how could Steve be so driven without a cause? A source? For he does have one. A woman of similar fashion, equally as strong, swift, and knowledgeable as Steve, however she comes with superior intellect.
Together, they've ventured the two realms, however it is soon to be known.. much more resides in this universe."Steve? Where've you gone?! I was waiting..." Steve could only lower his gaze, Alex continuing, "For three hours!"
"Oh I know I know, I was just caught up with something." Alex used her signature expression, a raising eyebrow, and a squint only belonging to a skeptic.
"Something? I know you don't go around chasing bees." Steve sighed, feeling distraught.
"No not that, why would you think so? I saw a book, it was very thick."
"A book?" Alex scoffed
"Trust me, Nothing you or I am familiar with.. when I tried to read it, I felt a very sincere fear." Alex's expression slowly shifted, her attention being.. well, attentive. "I do not remember much, but I do know I ran away from it, the book, and I just can't—" Alex interrupts abruptly,
"So all that was going to be put away in the back of your head after replying to me with 'I got caught up'?" Steve sighs once more, finally looking up at her,
"I know, I'm sorry.." A long, dreadful, and rather boring silence came afterwards.
"So what are we waiting for?"
"What?" Steve wondered
"Are we getting that book or not?" Steve looked, stunned and without words, however he eventually spoke.
"You want us to get the book?"
"Yes and I might as well go without you."
Steve stammers, reaching his hand out, but alas he returns to his infamous demeanor, a look of sternness and determination.Steve and Alex had to walk many blocks, and along the way Steve grew increasingly fearful. Alex could feel such a sensation too, both of them gaining occurring goosebumps. Steve and Alex stop inside the jungle, turning to face a tree with vines spread all over like a web.
"Is this it?" Alex pondered. Steve could only nod. Alex sighs, expressing, "I'm starving.. literally.." And so they both made their way, climbing and grappling onto the tough vines. They finished their sprawling, and each lightly gasped after seeing the mystical book.
