Nari was so dismayed by this incident, but she can't do anything about it anymore; Dalli don't answer her calls, she's unreachable, deleted her social media accounts, same with her boyfriend Haedong; And the Hotel receptionist told her that all their rooms are now fully booked.
She walked down the road and decided to go back in Namhae town proper; It's almost 11-pm in the evening and she haven't had her dinner yet; She's been walking for about 2-hours now, when suddenly she heard her tummy complaining, her stomach is growling, it's rumbling for food.
She went on a sudden pause while walking and rubbed her tummy;
"... Ahhh,.. 배고파 (baegopa), I'm hungry,.. " - Nari, while rubbing her tummy and looking around for a near restaurant where she could have her dinner.
She almost have reached the town proper after less than 2-hours of walking from the Hotel; She saw a street vendor's lane not too far from where she was standing;
"... Let me see what we could have there,.." - Nari, continued walking towards the street food lane.
The vendors sells several sumptuous street food; from 김밥/마약김밥 - Mayak Gimbap, 어묵 - Eomuk, 호떡 - Hotteok, 떡볶이 - Tteokbokki, 떡꼬치 Tteok-kkochi, 길거리 토스트 Korean Street Toast (Gilgeori Toast), 계란빵 Korean Egg Cake (Gyeran-ppang), 붕어빵 Bungeoppang, 찐빵/호빵 Jjinppang/Hoppang ,..etc.
But what catches Nari's taste buds was her favourite 순대 Sundae and 닭강정 Dakgangjeong (glazed fried chicken); she ordered one of each with the traditional rice wine- 막걸리 Makgeolli.
"... Woah,. mashitda (맛있다)!!!" - Nari, eats with excitement on her face.
After finishing the first serving of Makgeolli (rice wine), she felt like wanting more of it, she ordered another serving, and another serving, and another serving after another; Nari loses her counts of how many serving of rice wine she did ordered and felt tipsy after a while.
When she's about to stand up, she went out of balance and close into falling from her chair;
"...Ooo...Oahhh,.." - she tries to balance herself from further falling.
When all of a sudden a man's arms grabbed her wrist and pulled her back towards him; Nari, on her tipsy self didn't picked on what happen, instead faces the man on her back with a bright tipsy smile on her face;
"...Uhmh! (Smiled),.. 고마워 (gomawo),.." - Nari, while still trying to balance her head.
The man was dumbfounded, looking at Nari's face up-close and actually doesn't know what to do with her after; she looks very much tipsy and her eyes looks sleepy.
"... Aigoooo,..Aigooo,.. You kids these days,..!.,. Take your girlfriend now,.." - Ajumma who owns the street food stall told the guy.
"...나 na!?" (pointing to himself)...
".. Wae?,.. Aren't you here to pick her up?,.. She's been here for about 2-hours now, and it's already 2-am in the morning,.. If you had some lover's quarrel, I understand,.. But still, don't let her be out here alone at this time,.. She's still a lady, it's dangerous to be out alone at night,.." - Ajumma
The man then took Nari to his car and drove back to the Hotel while she's still unconscious of what's happening.
"..I smell a hint of rose scented candle being lighted around me,.. Sweet,.. and soft,.. It feels very romantic,.."
