Sue was fast asleep.
Rize was staring into nothingness.
I was sitting down on a different chair on the living room.
Rize held up the necklace. The necklace it's more of a locket, it was medium sized it had a button. Rize pressed the button. It opened. Inside, on the right was a picture of her and her mom. And on the left was a note. I Love You was written on it. She began to cry. "Live and Survive" i said. Then i noticed jian was coming down. She ran to rize and hugged her. "We are now your family" i said. Rize looked at me. I smiled at her. Then i closed my eyes and slept.
I woke up. It was already evening. I went upstairs to take a bath. After i finished. I went down. They were outside. They were already eating. So i sat down. Then i looked at them. "is that beer?" i asked. "yep" aldo said. He passed me one. I took a gulp. It was a long time since i had a beer. Tastes nice when it's cold.
I did a head count on my mind. Me, nicole, shn, sasha, rize, jian, frances, aldo, don, whitey, jyrra, john, robyn, pearl, blaire, dean, saab, hannah, marvs, stephen (my brother), kristine (brother's gf), betty and sue. 15 girls and 8 guys. We are a lot. I thought to my self we needed a bigger place. We need to go somewhere isolated. I asked nicole "how big is your house outside the city?" she replied "it's big, it has 3 floors, 3 rooms on the third and the second floor" "sounds good we need to get out of here. It's too dangerous to stay here any longer" i said.
After dinner we let betty sleep upstairs then we had a talk
*Conversation*
Me: We need to move out of here. We need to find a place to stay outside the city. We are getting bigger and bigger as a group.
Sasha: so what do you suggest?
Nicole: i have a place outside the city. It is isolated. It's built near a river bank. So we have water. The only problem is food.
Don: actually that's a good idea. But how about when we save more people won't the house become like this place? Where would we run to then?
Me: we need to find a village near that place. We need to do a perimeter check when we find one and we need to set up a defense wall so that we have shield against those fuckers.
Aldo: i agree. But how about weapons?
Me: hahahahhaha weapons aldo? Have you forgotten where we are?
Aldo: right. Every damn corner we could raid weapons. Guns and shit.
Jyrra: How about our families?
Rize: we will try our best to save them.
Me: contact them. The signal is still up. Electricity is still here. But i doubt if it would stay long.
Sasha: vehicles?
Me: that's the problem. We are currently have a motorcycle and a electric-jeepney. We are 23 here. We need more. Maybe tomorrow we could get some vehicles. We need to separate the group. One for scavenging food. One for weapons. And the other for vehicles. Three people would need to be left here. Betty would stay here. Who else?
Stephen : Me and Kristine.
Blaire: Me too
Frances : Me too
Me: i would lead the weapons scavenging
Nicole : i would lead the food scavenging
Sasha :i would lead the vehicles.
Sue: i'm with owen
Shn: i'm with owen too
Rize: owen's team
Jian: i'm with rize
John: i'll go with owen
Me: were complete.
Aldo: i'm with the food. Gotta find me some good ass beer hahhahaha
Robyn : food im with nicole.
Dean: ill go with nicole
Hannah: food
Saab : food
Nicole : food is complete
Don: me, whitey and jyrra are with the vehicle group.
Pearl: me too
Marvs: i am the last to speak. So vehicle it is.
Me: ok. So do you agree with this? Anymore questions?
Nicole: where would we scavenge?
Me: i know a place where we could scavenge. Its a mall near here.
It has a grocery store on the ground floor and a gun shop and self-defense shop on the top-most floor.
Aldo: ohh i know that place.
Me: anymore questions?
Sasha: how about the vehicles?
Me: there are lots of vehicles here. If you could. Try hot wiring the vehicles. Go for vans. If there are no vans then at least three cars. Oh and maybe we would get one more car. The outside of the mall has a parking lot. If there are no more questions lets go to sleep shall we?
All: ok
We slept at around 9 pm. I woke up at 11 pm. I checked the rooms. They were asleep. I went down. Then i went to the fridge and got a beer. I got some chips. Then i went to the sala. I sat down. I was thinking. Then some memories of my mother appeared in my mind. Tears were starting up. I took a sip from the beer. Then thought of my dad. Then my lil bro. Tears were rolling down. I was silent. Then i noticed rize was going down. I wiped away my tears. I put on a smile and i asked "why are you awake?" "can't sleep" she replied. "want a drink?" i asked. "sure" she said. I got her a beer. Then we talked.
*conversation*
Rize: so how are you?
Me: i'm fine. Quite okay i guess.
Rize: don't fool me okay? I saw you crying while i was going down.
M: you saw that?
R: yep. So let me ask you again. How are you?
M: Sad i guess. I feel lonely a bit. Don't get me wrong i enjoy all of your companies. But still there is this missing part of me.
Sue: isnt that how we all feel?
-we looked at her.
S: what? Did i shock you?
M: kind of yeah.
R: you did.
S: sorry hahahah.
R: you said that's how we all feel. What's your story?
S: well. I saw my dad killed my mom. He needed to. She already turned into one of them. *she is starting to cry* my dad got bitten. And when my dad turned he bit my older brother. My older brother killed my dad. Then my older brother hugged me. And he killed himself just for me to survive.
M: that's okay
R: don't worry ok? We are your family now.
M: and as a caring family member. Both of you should sleep we still have a big day tomorrow
S: ok
R: ok
M: good night
