Pokémon The Movie: Scooby-Doo! and The Loch Ness Monster

Chapter 1

On sundown one evening in the Galar Region, things seemed peaceful. Pokémon were enjoying their time going about and flying, swimming, etc.

Then, when the sun was down, out on the great Loch Ness by the Blake family castle, on a boat were people participating in the yearly Galar Highland Games. However, the only one feeling uneasy was Shannon Blake, the one meant to kick off the event when it starts in a day or two.

Even Shannon's own Pokémon, her Wyrmeon, walked up and nudged her out of concern, Shannon rubbing her mon's back gently. Something just didn't feel right to Shannon.

"Let's here a few words from our fair hostess!" One of the contestants spoke, making Shannon and Wyrmeon turn around

"Come on, Shannon, give us a speech!" another added

After some chanting, Shannon sighed.

"On behalf of the Blake clan, myself included... Shannon starts. "I want to welcome all of our mighty competitors to the first ever Loch Ness Highland Games. And I wanna thank all the volunteers who helped us turn the grounds of Blake Castle into a first rate tournament field."

Wyrmeon yawned before laying down.

"Now the Blakes can finally be known for somethin' other than gettin' themselves into trouble, eh, Shannon?" Angus, one of the competitors, jabbed

Shannon rolled her eyes and Wyrmeon growled at Angus.

"I just hope we can survive the embarrassment, should YOU be our winning contestant, Angus Haggart." Shannon responds

Everyone had a small chuckle at Shannon's response to Angus.

"That's me brother ye be speakin to, lassie, and if anyone's got claim to be embarrassed by him, it's me." Collin, Angus's brother, says

"Aye, then, whatya say we start the games early?"  Angus comments. "Biggest splash wins!"

"Oh, yer on!" Collin responds

Despite Shannon's protests, the two jumped off the boat and resurfaced.

"Please, guys, get back in the boat." Shannon pleads

"What? Afraid the legend of the loch might be comin' back for a midnight snack?" Collin asks

"This isn't funny!" Shannon says

"If I didn't know any better Shannon Blake, i'd say I think you believe in the legend of the Loch Ness Monster." Collin scoffed

Something int he water was approaching, making Wyrmeon's ears twitch and then, it passed by under the Haggart twins.

"What the???" Angus questions

Then, the thing, whatever it was, bumped against the boat, knocking a couple people out.

"COLLIN!!! ANGUS!!!! GET OUT OF THE WATER NOW!!!!" Shannon shouts

The two began swimming to land and Shannon tried to pilot the boat but it didn't really budge.

"We're double anchored!" One of the contestants says. "We won't move an inch till we pull them up!"

Then, whatever was in the water struck the boat from underneath, rocking the boat with enough force to lift up both anchors and Wyrmeon had to grab onto a bar to avoid falling into the water.

The boat was snared on whatever the thing was and it began shooting right for the land, and at high speeds.

"BRACE YERSELVES!!!!" Shannon shouts

The boat then crashed with a thud, everyone falling out and a violin washing up on land.

"For a thousand years it has swam in the shadows below." A voice spoke, everyone looking up to see an elderly man. "You have disturbed the spirit that haunts these waters!"

Shannon stepped back.

"Too afraid to sleep at night? Trembling in yer beds with fright?" The man comments. "Tis not darkness drawin near, but the Loch Ness Monster ye should fear."

Then, some thunder struck, Shannon shaking a little, kind of actually a bit terrified.
