Prologue

1st person POV
Hi! My name is Max udai, I have short red hair, brown eyes, glasses, and I'm 5'6. I used to attend Morimori Academy, but I decided that an all boys boarding school isn't my style so I'm moving back to my home in Miyagi prefecture.
I spent my first year in boarding school and I played volleyball with the other boys there, but now I'm spending my second year going to karasuno high school. Hopefully they have a good volleyball team, I really enjoy playing volleyball even though my height isn't exactly cut out for volleyball... But that doesn't stop me! I can jump higher than birds can fly. I'd love to play the libero position because I like saving the point from going to the other team just barely! But my revieves are lacking. So I use my freakishly high jump to spike volleyballs.
Jeez I really should stop talking to myself... Oh I'm the next bus stop! Yay I'm only one stop away from being home and seeing my mom dad and brother again!

3rd person POV
The bus screeches to a halt and Max jumps off and happily walks to his house. He still remembers the way from the bus stop to his house like the back of his hand. He makes his way home in about 12 minutes or so and he walks up to the front door of his house.

1st person POV
I grab the key we have hidden under the plant outside of our door and unlock it. I put the key back and walk inside of my house. The smell of my mom's cooking hit my nose and I could feel drool forming in my mouth. My mom has the best cooking ever! I miss it after being in a boarding school for 10 months.
"Family I'm home!" I happily announced.
My mom walked out of the kitchen with her favorite apron on and came over to hug me. I drop all of my bags and wrap my arms around her. My dad walks over and ruffles my hair and greets my by saying "what's up buddy" his classic line whenever I wanted to talk to him. My parents move out of the way to reveal my older curly black haired brother around the same height as me happily waiting for me.
"TENMAAAA"
"MAXYYYYYY" we yelled each other's names and ran to hug each other. I embraced my elder brother so tight that I thought I'd suffocate him! He hugged me just as tight. When Tenma was in high school he was in the volleyball Club too. He made me practice receives with him and set him balls to spike. My older brother was known in his glory days as "The Tiny Giant". A named that fits him well since he was the shortest on the team but he was their ace. He inspires me to play volleyball and to do my best in the sport. That's why I admire him so much. He's been my best friend since I was born and I appreciate how much he cares about me.

-Time skip-

"So you're gonna go to karasuno this year Maxy?" Tenma asked me while we were playing animal Crossing together.
"Yup. I'm excited to be back home big bro." I responded to him.
"I heard karasuno's volleyball team got really bad when I graduated" Tenma said with a hint of sadness in his voice.
"People call them the wingless crows now a days" he said.
"I get it, play-on words since the school's name kinda means crow" I laughed, but then switched my tone to be more serious.
"Don't worry Tenma I'm going to bring karasuno's good reputation back when I join the team" I said with confidence.
"That's what I like to hear little bro" Tenma said while ruffling my hair.

-Time skip-

I woke up on the first day of school to my alarm blaring in my ear. I shut it off and got ready for my first day. I grabbed my bag walked down stairs and shoved a piece of bread into my mouth for a quick to-go breakfast. I got my bike from the shed and rode the 5 minute bike ride to Karasuno high school. Once I got there I locked up my bike and stood in front of the huge building. I'm here wingless crows. I'm finally here.

A/N: let's goooo prologue done. It's longer than I wanted it to be but that's okay because I'm actually really invested in this story. I'm also gonna change that whole beginning thing to be that tsukki yama noya Asahi hinata and kags are on the team from day one.
