Chapter 2

Lisa's P. O. V

Soon after sending off all my students, I headed toward the Teachers' staff room. It's one of the school's rules that every teacher should stay back for another 1 hour after school gets over.
The teachers are asked to strictly utilize this given time to finish all their pending work, make preparations for the next day's classes, and write daily journals.

I went inside the staff room and as usual, I could see all the teachers busy with their work. I went straight to my cubicle and started doing my work. After half an hour I finished preparing for the next day's classes and began to write down today's events in my journal. By the time I almost finished writing, I heard some teachers gossiping. Though gossiping is strictly prohibited here, there's no way that a room filled with dozen of young ladies will not have its fair share of gossip ceremonies. It's like gossip and girls are inseparable. Your lover may leave you, your friends may leave you but gossip will never leave you, and even if you don't have anyone to gossip with you'll still gossip in your mind with your inner self just like what I'm doing right now, gossiping with myself about gossip.

I just sit and continue with my work like always as I don't want to get engaged in their gossip and then get caught slacking off during work hours.
I was just about to finish writing when yet again my attention was diverted to their gossip.

"Guys, did you see the news that Jisoo is getting back into the film industry?" One of the colleagues said.

"Really? Wasn't she traveling around the world with her family?" Another responded.

"Yeah, I heard that too. It was even rumored that she won't be continuing with her acting career and focus only on her family I.e husband and child. "

"But I'm telling you the truth. If you don't believe me you can check it out yourself. I saw it on her former agency's page. "

As soon as I heard it I took out my phone and started searching the HH Entertainment page. The reason why I'm so interested in this topic is that I was a big fan of Jisoo. She was a perfect embodiment of a goddess. Beautiful and graceful as she appears she is equally kind and humble by nature and personality. She is one of the most humble beings that I have ever come across in my life, though being at the very top. Her acting skill is also truly outstanding and I have watched all of her films at least a dozen times. Her last film 'My Paradise' was a blockbuster but who knew that it will be the last time we'll see her on and off the screen? The film was released five years back and on the film's premiere night, Jisoo suddenly disappeared from the face of the world. No one knew where she went or with whom she went. There was not a single trace of her whereabouts. Hence, by the news of it, all her family members, as well as her fans, were truly devastated, including me. But we did hope that she was safe and sound wherever she was.
Then after a year and a half, there was news that she was already married and was expecting a child by the end of the year. What proved the authenticity of the news was that it was disclosed by Jisoo herself through a short video clip. She looked really happy and radiant in the video clip. It didn't look like she had suffered in any way in the past months that she had gone missing which eventually set our hearts at ease.

Though there was no update from her after that,  there'll be some pictures of her circulating on the internet posted by fans, from different countries each time, so people assumed that she was on a world tour with her new family. And, even though there is no update on who her husband is it is still believed that he's very rich and that his works require him to travel a lot.

Anyways, I checked out the page and there was indeed news of Jisoo continuing her acting career. Honestly, I was very elated by the news as I will finally be able to see my goddess on the screen once again. But before I could continue reading, my friend Minnie tap me on my shoulder.

"Come on Lis, it's already time to knock off. '' Minnie said.

" Okay, just a sec Minnie. '' I replied and quickly tidied my desk and headed out with her.
